Not official quite yet, but 90% certain that is how the NL bracket will shake out.

Baltimore wins Game 1 of its wildcard series 9-6.

On the NL side, seeding for the final two spots is coming down to the final regular season game of the season. Milwaukee needs one more win to take the No. 5 seed...a loss gives the 5 seed to Atlanta.

The Tigers are the first team through the wildcard with a 2-0 sweep over Cleveland ... winning 11-6 and 9-7.

The Orioles and Devil Rays are headed to a decisive Game 3 in the other AL Wildcard matchup.

The Atlanta Braves scored a thrilling 9-8 win over the Florida Marlins in the first extra-inning game of the playoffs.

Unless I misunderstood the labeling, I thought I won game 1 and Tigers won game 2 - wasn't it a 1-1 split in maps in game 1 with equal score and then I won the third map?

Detroit won innings 1-3 in 15 rounds ... Tigers 5-0
Cleveland won innings 4-6 in 5 rounds ... Tied 5-5
Detroit won innings 7-9 in 6 rounds ... Tigers win 9-7

Ah, I see what happened, I mixed up the baseball map games with each other (which was for game 1 and which was for game 2) because the one for game 2 finished first! Thanks for clarifying

The AL Wildcard series is complete with the Devil Rays getting past Baltimore in three games, and Detroit scoring a sweep over Cleveland.

Brackets are updated...we are onto the Division Rounds (these are best of 5 series).

We've got a 1 vs. 2 matchup in the NL Championship Series between the Giants and the Mets, while the Yankees and Devil Rays square off in a Game 5 for the right to advance and play Detroit in the AL Championship series. Good postseason matches.

A subway series is still possible. We've got the Tigers and Yankees in the ALCS and the Mets and Giants in the NLCS. Good luck all

I enjoyed this season and thinking of running another baseball tourney when it rolls around in the spring.

What do you have in way of feedback?

What did you like about this season AND any suggestions for tweaks to make it simulate the baseball season more closely or to improve the game play?

Game 6 in the ALCS is coming down to the wire...with the early-inning map still in play.

Also note that the Yankees have a clutch hitter power up for a bonus run in the 9th if needed.
