I feel like we are learning nothing from the flavour chat, and that's how it should be. If the flavour told us who were the wolves then it wouldn't be much of a game. Later on it can become important to evaluate how realistic various claims are but I would encourage everyone to try and read people's posts and decide if they sound more towny or more wolf like. Yes, some of it will be speculative and you are free to change your mind later, it may yield unclear or dubious results at first but at least then we can progress as the game goes on. As it stands the wolves are probably sitting back laughing at the fact we are learning nothing and they don't have to even bother coming up with a person to vote.

Right, flavor is just flavor. The game is mafia, the flavor is just a shell on top of the game to make it more fun. We shouldnt read much into it, even if theres not much to go on for now.

So I'm just reading everything written in this thread many times a day, and I'm a bit confused and have had nothing to add so far.
But my vote is No Lynch since we have nothing to go at all, and I don't want to hang one of my fellow townies the first day.

Will any of you admit to feeling the sharp stab from the prickly vine ? I mean it might not be good for whoever it was so maybe it was felt by someone who was town/not scum and so might need assistance from the group if an offer of assistance is forthcoming?

I don't believe it'll be relevant until Day 2. Not to be tongue in cheek, but fluff is fluff and I generally don't pay all too much attention to it unless it becomes relevant to someones death/conversion/role/etc.

I agree with you that Scum is probably laughing at us...
At this point the flavor has become a scum-weapon hopelessly distracting town from its own best interests.

Here's an idea.
The next player to make reference to any sword (after this post!) gets tossed on a bandwagon to the gallows.

There, that should get the clown element to pipe down and focus.

We can't just be swinging swords metal markers and shouting "skirl!". We need to prepare as best we can...
If the game flavour does have anything to teach us, it will have to become more self-evident.

He is only on 2 Votes. pmc is not allowed to vote for 2 people. My understanding is that you need to "unvote" before you vote, unless you maybe have the ability to cast 2 votes?
