Rays and Bluejays battle for 1 and 2 seeds , Whitesox will be number 3 , Twins , Orioles and Indians all in playoffs , just placings to be decided ,final 2 slots to be decided between 3 teams , Rangers , Athletics and Mariners


Central League

Padres number 1 seed ( and overall for tourny ) , Diamondbacks number 2 , Nationals , Brewers ,Giants and Reds all in , placings to be confirmed ,Pirates and Marlins also in , again , placings could change

All playoffs seeding are secured

Quick tidy up if any one is interested , Seattle Mariners take the last place in American League , due to their record against the Athletics ( won the series 7-3 )
Orioles take number 4 seed over Indians after series win ( 5-1 )

In The central , Reds take number 3 seed over the nationals due to better record against top 2 , tied their series
Brewers over Giants due to series win (4-2 )

Only surprise upset is the number 7 Pirates edging out the Diamondbacks 4-3 to set up a next round meeting with the Padres

Central have finished their first round

Padres will play Pirates , Reds will take on the Brewers

American league 1st round decided

Rays will now take on the Orioles , Bluejays will play the Whitesox
