Really tho, I find all this interesting. Being a stay at home dad for 21 years, it's the most important job to me to raise 2 boys with the best chance at a happy future that I can. Been really involved in the schools since 98....

Personally don't see any correlation to doing well in school to parent sit, but thats just me / here. Lots of single parents (LOTS)...see a definite difference between HOW the kids turn out with only mom vs. only dad, but no diff in school performance.

The handful of WORST kids all happened to be from family with mom and dad. Mom's a drug addict, dad sexually abuses (if I EVER see that fucker again, he's going DOWN), etc.....real quality folks.

And that's a good thing, obviously. There's a basic question though, if something happened to you or your partner, or both, would you want your kids written off as not ideal? Of course not. You're a good man, and a good parent.

As a teacher, your priority is the the kid and what they need to learn. It's exhausting sometimes, but that's the job.
