Perhaps I shouldn't answer for end and wing but suggesting a ludicrous theory about an NYC killer which again would be ludicrous, seems like a distraction. It's an impossible theory (as an NPC killer serves no function so even the suggestion of it as unlikely has no real relevance to anything going on in the game. Stating that NPCS were killed by NPcs is also irrelevant and distracting.

Of course its the jokevote stage so im far from certain he is scum but that comment was strange,he seemed to be trying to downplay the scene "subtly" and it seemed like enough reason to give him a push and see how he reacts.
His reaction doesnt really do much for me and id consider him for a claim later but theres lots of time here.

I hate when plauers do this. Don't state you are town and can prove it. Fight accusations. The case on you is small. Easily defended. You have defended much of it already. Stating you can prove yourself town isn't something players should be impatient to do before you even accrue votes. It is something you do when you have not been able to defend yourself. *walks off in a huff*

The chance is proportional to the town:mafia ratio. This game is this game, and using trends from past games as evidence is a gambler's fallacy. Also, just getting this out now, I'm hoping your proof isn't early claiming (especially since claiming really wouldn't accomplish much in this game, I think).

If you're aware of your tell, it stops being an effective tell for other players. I'm not sure that overreacting D1 is an effective play style, though you have become the center of discussion, so if that was your aim, then kudos.

Easy example of where the gamblers fallacy presents itself. Traditional odds would say that mafia makes up between 1/3 and 1/4 of the players. So pick any 3/4 games with a certain player and he should only be mafia in roughly one of them right? Yet the last three games involving me and aage (Harry Potter where we both played, Foundation which I hosted and PYOM which we played) Aage was mafia in all 3.

You could even argue that one of the main goals of a mafia during the day is to imitate their town goals so closely that the rest of town cannot tell it apart from your normal town play.

The point has not addressed, how is you pointing out the kills being possibly NPC relevant to the game? We know there are scum in this game (there is a slight possibility of just one but a single SK would be difficult to balance in a game this size), who committed the kill is irrelevant and suggesting it was a NPC or a function less NPC killer is irrelevant. The only possible counter scenario is if this is a cult game. It comes off as a distraction and as end put it roughly a misdirection.

Claiming is still valuable in my eyes as scum become accountable for actions,even if we are unsure they are scum.
If we know player y has power x we can look at how he is using it to help determine his alignment or prevent him from using said power against obvious townies.
That said if dakky claims and he cannot prove his towniness like he says he can ill want him lynched,he has fooled me with a similiar play when he was scum before.
Dont claim this early unless you have a plan of how it will help town.

Which on second thought makes sense. Kenny and Sean Bean died without Dakky having shot either of them, hence why he has tried to find logic for it.

In hindsight this was one of those times I should have stayed quiet about noticing a soft claim that may well have gone unnoticed by the majority.

Don't look into flavour that much, because it's just that. Flavour. It's most likely an error in the opening scene, where TFO misplaced one of the characters.

If you are town vig,(which i kinda doubt)threatening players is not the way to play it.
No matter my alignment is,suggesting that you will kill me only makes scums life easier tonight.
If im town scum will just ignore you,if im scum then your shot will be interfered with.
I think you understand this dakky,which leads me to believe 2 things.
1. You intend to coerce/kill players that support lynching you.
2. You are unconcerned with hurting towns chances if it means your survival.
