Yes. We agreed before the game started that our strategy would be for Endgame's first post to sound massively scummy and for me to immediately reveal myself as his partner.

Ptlowe and Epitaph, plus Sausage plus Endgame as the two pairs... Look at their draft order. Perfect balance. This is where I sit at the moment, but its Pt I strongly believe to be scum, the rest is mostly circumstantial.

It was already observed that we can infer nothing from draft order because the numbers were selected before alignment was given out. So, unless you think the mod gave out scum alignment in a non-random way, then please avoid speculation like this because it can create serious confusion.

You can't speculate like that because I ended up vanilla townie and I wasn't last in the draft. And I didn't choose some big important role, but still ended vanilla.
So if most of people were scared to pick big roles, there could be those who picked them, including benga.

Dude, why did you claim? Not that you are going to be a high value target on N1 anyway, given your draft position, but claiming VT like this only makes the Mafia/Sk's job easier. I really hope you are feigning VT but I doubt it the way you laid it out there.

Wing is acting pretty aggressive imo. I can't tell if he's just trying to stir stuff up or what. Making connections and strongly thinking someone is scum (ie ptolwe) this early is probably an exercise in futility.

Not sure about the love affair between hotshot and endgame. Other than that Tim's last post is the first scummy read I have gotten. That may just his attempt at a joke. But I know we need to watch him.

I claimed because Wing made a pretty nice speculation about the draft order and the only way to prove him wrong was to claim.
I know it may have bad results, but anyway, it can also have good results as his speculations or reads can be wrong, like last 3 games.

As I said, it was a joke vote... which implies a joke reason... I guess I should have paid more attention to everyone else's joke votes to make sure I came up with a more unique one. And my "reason" for unvoting was because... it was a joke vote. And since some people seemed to take it too seriously, I removed it.

Why are people claiming VT right off the bat without even any pressure? Isn't half a VT's job to appear more powerful and absorb kills instead of more powerful roles?

I claimed because of the Wing's speculations, to show him he is wrong with assumption that top draft players (mets, Tim, epi...) picked the top roles like cop, doctor, bulletproof, double-voter etc. Since being 12th on the draft list, I chosen the role I believed is most useless, and still ended vanilla, which means someone above me picked it first.

Also, I agree with you on that, but how would one bait mafia in a kill... If you fakeclaim cop, someone will counterclaim and you will be lynched... and mafia will kill the counterclaimed cop. If you fakeclaim but the real cop stays silent, it might work but then you will be asked D2 who did you visit and end lynched D2. So either way you will get lynched and that is not good for town however you put it.

You do not claim cop, you do not claim. That way mafia do not know what role you are, and if they guess incorrectly may night kill you.

Dakky you were 12th draft, Mitch was 14th. I am suggesting that players need the end of the list are more likely to be powerless. You two are confirming that theory. You claim was not required or in anyway helpful. There are very few circumstances in which it is beneficial for town to claim their role early.

i can go with the end of list theory, but i would like to pick a target that wingcmdr isnt choosing then. i mean the idea has some merit in my opinion but could just be scum telling the idea. so rather not have wing in charge of the selection then

I get what you say, but then you shouldn't have stayed onto your theory for so long. And push it so hard.

On the other hand, you're not reading what I said - if I was 12th and ended up vanilla for choosing boring role, that could as well mean 15th pick chose something important and got the role.
All I'm trying to say - only mets got his wanted role, everyone else can be vanilla or have a big role, even by being 15th.
