Thank you spline for setting us straight about your site. You can see how assumptions would be made when the GS creator is the top poster on your site. Please understand many people posting here are unaware of the history of CC and are just rabid fans of this site. They for instance are unaware that CC wasn't the first non-Hasbro World Domination site around, and site creators often communicate and loosely base their sites on one another's, improving on them in the process. Competition is good, just like in any market.
Thanks again, and let us know if you have any questions. We still think we're the best around and hope to continue to prove that to you, and to others. Critiques are always welcome.

Thanks for understanding. I can see where the assumptions come from. Of course everyone is free to become a top poster on my site, as I don't intend to control that.
I do agree with you on the philosophy behind competition. Any creative work may have little issues that over time can get ironed out. Being open about it helps to sort it out sooner than later. I look forward to see more features and improvements on all variations of Risk and to see more players playing them as Risk is truly a great game.

Didn't the creator of Grand Strategy start his site and steal our maps and idea's from the to-do list? I agree, someone needs to register there and set them straight.
GS had tabs separating games into active, awaiting players like 6 months ago.
When did CC copy that feature?
GS had two player games with 1/3 of countries as neutral like 6 months ago.
When did CC copy that feature?
GS has maps with hundreds of territories that make CC maps look like kid toys.http://www.denizengames.com
Lol, really?
Breakdown of GS maps:
Africa:Stolen directly from CC
Asia:Based off CC's map with a few changes, but not many.
British Isles:Stolen directly from CC
Brooklyn: Might be original but limited to premium membersClassic: Stolen from Risk 2
Same with variant
Europe: Based off CC's map with few changes but not many.
Germany: Stolen directly from CC
Italy 13th Century: Might be originalMiddle East: Based directly off CC's no changes.
Montreal: Stolen directly from CC
Norman Invasion: Might be originalNorth America: Stolen directly from CC
Sumerian City States:Stolen from Lux
Tamriel: based directly off CC's no changes.
Vietnam War: Stolen from American history lux
Xulonia: Might be originalBolded are the 4 maps that are GS originals.
GS has more maps than that. i think around 25 or so. just a few you missed:
orcs vs humans
tidestone
greek city-states

i think it is interesting that CC got 50% of the votes for 'best AI' - I am having a hard time finding the 'AI' feature of CC....

He's being serious mike from lux. CC users thought it would be funny to vote CC #1 in that becuase they originally thought the review was biased.

RK just b/c he likes and prefers another site, doesn't make him a multi or unwelcome here. There are people who like other sites just as much as we like CC, and we should respect that, and try to change their opinions in a positive way.

ok - I was being sarcastic - I figured out that CC users were marking all options no.1 - because there is obviously no AI here - I thought that my sarcasm would be obvious too - because there is no AI - no worries guys - it was just a joke.
I have not played land grab or any of the others (besides the old hasbro risk, and lux) I like both CC and Lux each for different reasons.

Don't worry Mike, most of us got it. I think it's hilarious. Apparently the best intelligence is the non-existant type.

Bryanbr is the GS creator who used to be on this site. It's how he got all his ideas actually. He's still allowed to play if he so desires, but was forum banned for not following our guidelines about advertising his knockoff site here.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but some GS maps aren't available to non-paying members? That would explain how RK cannot view them. Here at CC all our maps and features sans passwording are available to all members, paying or non-paying.

Only Premiums can have RSS feed as well. Premiums are limited to 35 games.
