It is extremists of all colours, stripes, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, etc., that are causing 90%+ of all the problems in the world.

He is right when he says they are not welcome in NY. Perhaps we should make a poll, determine who all the extremists in the world are, and put them all in Antarctica. The world would be a much better place for all the sensible people.

Great, you nailed it, what I think is important here. What is extreme, and who decides? It's pretty clear already that some people straight up believe the Constitution is extreme, and anyone who believes in it is an extremist.

People don't believe that the Constitution is extreme. People believe that anyone in 2014 who insists in adhering to the 1780s' interpretation of every part of a legal document is an extremist.

I don't think pro-life is extreme. I think it's highly reasonable and rational how a person can believe abortion is murder.

in america, any position which is not totally apathetic is extreme.

You have NFL, McDonalds and I love Lucy reruns. How could anyone pay attention to the problems in the world under those conditions?

Do you find it reasonable and rational that most people don't think eating meat is murder?

NFL alone would be enough to make me start taking an intense interest in the outside world.

Yes. That is, to say, I find it reasonable and rational that most people think there is a difference between a human being and a rattlesnake, or any other animal.

Well, a human fetus is different from an adult human. Simply 'looking different' is obviously not a relevant moral characteristic in determining whether killing is acceptable.
