Changed the Mountains

Say yes if you like them. No if they need more work.

They look too much like metal to me. I think the white is too bright and the dark is too dark.

I cant seem to find a good hue for them. I tried brown, but they looked too much like dancing mustard.

Im looking the style kyle,

but there as always it a list of concerns

1. The mountains need work (as you already know). Im thinknig something simple to keep hte map looking clean as it is now. I draw up some ideas for you.

2. The boats could perhaps use a touch of transparency to stop tem looking so block black.

3. The sea routes are jittery and inconsitant.

4. Overall i like the neat and tidy legends but the dark color backgroud and image arent sittingto well with me at the moment.

nice boarders BTW did you do them yourself this time :P

@1. Yeah, I've got something I'm trying but it isn't quite working for me either. I hate doing mountains ;)

@2. I'll fix this.

@3. That is actually the style I was going for the brush I used had high amounts of jitter added, I like the look, but if alot of others don't I can look into revising it.

@4. I like the dark color background and as such I designed it that way, bu t again if others object I'll see what I can do about changing it.

Any other feedback?

I still say you need a water route in the black sea.

Either from krasnodar or volgograd to Armenia

Here's a new try on the mountains, Edbeard I'll fix that the next update.

My vote would be volgograd-armenia. That way caucasia doesn't have 2 ports.

Love the color palette. Oddly enough, I have a sudden craving for caviar.

That was where I was going for the exact same reason you mentioned.

I'd suggest having another sea route from Tambov or Kurgan, and have it connect to either Blaine or Damavand.

No. I don't feel like that would be a good addition, it adds too many borders.

You can hold the entire top half or bottom half by holding only a single country. Fix this.

Beautiful and calm colours on all continents! However - with the mountains there is very little space for the army circle on inparticular Azerbajian. Maybe it'll work but I'm skeptic!

Regarding the super-land (Kizyl-Kaya, as described in the last post), I suggest adding a mountain pass and perhaps a sea route Ossetia <--> Armenia.

That's what I was trying to solve by adding a few extra routes.

Aktob on the map should be Aktobe.

Armenia to vologograd.

Fixed. I'm just not posting an update until I have something new to post involving the mountains.

Not really, why are the mountains there anyway?
