I'm no expert on paradoxes, but I don't think it was.

A paradox would be him saying something like "this is a lie", but he doesn't actually say something like that. He just says one thing. And then says that he won't do the things he earlier said he would do. He doesn't at any point contradict himself in a sentence. It's more like a change of mind, which as far as I know isn't how these paradoxes work.

Maybe I'm being anal here, but I'm pretty sure it's not really a paradox.

"We will not actually do any of the things we have said we will do" meaning that we will not "not actually do any of the things we have said we will do" (we will do what we said we would do).

The bet from last time was that the loser had to wear a sig I think for a month (nothing inappropriate, but extremely funny if you see the one Josko posted that we had to wear). I loved wearing that sig last time. It actually took some of the sting out of the loss. You couldn't look at it without laughing at its cleverness.

logic fail, would it not be in our best interest to send maps where we perceive the biggest difference between our skill and yours in our favor? Just because we are confident does not mean that it is the best decision as a home map.

The same here, what I want is having top class challenges (in games which I will be in, I am not speaking for other games). if I notice that you have some top CC players on particular maps which I also like to play, you may be sure that you will receive that maps like our home maps. for example, you may also expect feudal epic. I know you have Ninja Champion, maybe the best CC player on that map (who had regulary spanked my ass in our feudal games) but I am not affraid of having top class challenges, I wish to have it as much as possible. I believe you are also not affraid to play top class challenges instead of challenges on some anonymus maps where maybe you know some strategic detail better than rest of the site.

Ugh, of course it is more fun to play people equal to your skill in a single game...but the ultimate goal of playing a challenge is to win. You can bet your ass we are going to send the games we think we have the biggest chance to win whatever those are. Also i dont know anything about tennis but i do know that in just about every other sport people scout their opponents and try to base their strategy on the weaknesses they see in that scouting, and i can only assume this is the same in tennis. Oh and dont go acting like we are afraid if you dont see maps that you would have expected based on both sides having skill on the maps. This is a strategic game, it would be a shame for you to judge us for using strategy.

maybe it is your wiew of competition to always play on fields that you have the biggest strategic advantage. my wiew of competition is different... what I want/enjoy is to meet some top skilled team on the same field where my team is also top skilled. having double (home and away) challenge on that field (map) is something that everyone would enjoy, both players inside the game, who would get unique fun to play vs other top skilled team, and spectators, who would have great fun to see who would take ultimate win on the map where both teams are famous for their dominating strategy.

if you do not believe that I always seek for a top class challenge, just check my previous challenges. TOFU sent their hive/NS/unl/fog home game, and THOTA sent their poison rome/NS/C/fog game. my team had NEVER played those maps/settings like our home settings before. in addition, hive game vs TOFU was my first hive team game ever played. but, the batch after we had received their home games, we sent the same home maps/settings back. we had so many map/settings possible to choose like our home map, where we would probably have better skill advantage vs opponents, but we chose to send the same map/settings like we had received the batch before. isnt it enough to prove that my wish has always been to have top class challenge, and not send some gimmic map where fun level would be lower, but which would give us several more % for win, due to some more experience or map knowledge on our side?

Personally, I like to play the maps where I have the most fun. There are some maps that I'm really good at that I just can't stand. I try to avoid them, but damn away games always pull me into them.

LOL, isn't that the truth, I'm kind of the same way, enjoy the challenge, but usually if you enjoy the map you're good at it as well, the tough part I guess would be finding competition for that map. If you do though, it's even more fun.

By the way, now that I know what the "prize" is, I'm up for the sig challenge as well. Only thing I'm worried about is why Denise sent Violet taffy and not me?
