Hole #1s have all been sent...I hope to get holes 2-6 out by the end of the day.

From there...new sets of 6 hole packages will go out every 2 weeks (may vary slightly depending on pace of play).

OFFICIAL CUT LINE: 44 (anyone 44th higher after two rounds will continue to rounds 3 and 4 of the tournament...tied for 44th allows you to advance).

Invites for the first six holes have been sent...scores will be updated as maps finish up...I'll be posting scorecards, etc over the next couple days.

Next map batch (holes 7-12) set to go out Monday, Aug. 15.

Checking through early results and a handful of players have yet to join their maps...invites have been resent...failure to join this time will result in being bounced from the tourney.

Working on getting a leader board and scorecards up by the end of the week.

The early leader board is up with some of the par-3s finished.
Underneath the leader board, you'll find a link to the scorecards...simply scroll down until you find your name. Those cards are sorted by number and won't change over the course of the tourney, so remember where you're at and you can save yourself some search time.

Also, I've adjusted the leader board slightly so that it doesn't run over into the CC medals and such, that will show up in the next update.

edgone and dagdam have suffered DQs for the tournament and new maps have been sent out to make up for their absence. Also, leatherhead is still in, but suffered doubles on Holes 5 & 6 because I had already made those replacement maps before seeing he was in the tourney.

One slight change to the scoring rules...players will drop a stroke after every 7th elimination (it was 10 originally).

leaderboard and scorecards are updated through Saturday results.

I have 2 questions:

1) How does a player score an Eagle? (stated on our scorecards)

2) On a 2 player map, if you win in 6 rounds or less, wouldn't that be a Birdie? (stated on Scoring Table)

Yes 6 rounds or less should be a birdie in a 2-player map...did I miss one...early on I had 5 rounds in my brain, but it should be 6.

You score an eagle by winning a map (for birdie) and cashing in a 7-set of eliminations on the same map (dropping one more stroke to get to eagle).

Leader board updated and scorecards as well...thanks to Jim for pointing out a mistake I had made on a handful of par-3 maps in that first set. Those corrections are reflected in the updated files.

Congrats to traffic133 for being the first to hit an eagle with a solid chip-in on Hole #6 where he eliminated all four of his opponents en route to a win on the Classic map.

Note: On the scorecards, a red # indicates a hole that had another stroke sliced off by the "7-eliminations" tally.

Also, I'll be sending out holes 7-12 over the next 24 hours, so join those invites!!!

check my score please.....i finished 1st in a 2-plyr and 2nd in both a 4-plyr and 5-plyr.....that should be par, correct?.....i'm shown at +1 on the leader board

sure enough ubc...I had missed the first elimination in that game.

adjustments will show with the next update probably sometime over the weekend...but here's who was affected.

ubc drops a stroke
goggles drops a stroke
whakamole gains 2 strokes.

i should be at -4 i think three birdies and 8 eliminations

Everyone is through with Hole #1...

The leader board is updated with checks through Hole #4, I'll work on holes 5-11 later tonight and post a fresh board. Also, I plan to get Hole #12 sent out tonight as well.

Just an alert...if you plan to be out of town (away from CC) for more than a couple days please let me know, so I can hold your spot in the tournament.

I don't mind sending a reminder invited if someone is away for a long weekend, etc. If you plan on being gone more than a week, it's probably a good idea to find an account sitter to fill in.

If a golfer repeatedly fails to join their invites they will be withdrawn from the tournament (this may affect the cut line, as well).

We've got nine players in the red at the moment...led by qwerty at 4-under.

scorecard link was also updated this morning, along with the leaderboard.

don't think there are going to be very many people finishing in the minuses. I got scared for a second when I checked my score card it said I had 1 elimination but that can't be right I've won 2 2 player games. Then I realized that they reset after you have gotten your 7th elimination.
