DJENRE's account has been suspended from the site. As his doubles and quads teams are eliminated and he was personally eliminated from assassin, he is only alive in standard and terminator.

I'm loathe to add an entrant at this point, particularly since DJENRE had advanced into the winner's bracket of the standard round. After studying it, my decision is as follows:

1. DJENRE is issued a forfeit for the standard game in Round 3 (Middle East map). As such, that 6-player game is going to become a 5-player game. Invites will be re-sent.

2. DJENRE is simply removed from the second round of the terminator section. That means one group will have 7 players, rather than 8. I ran some numbers and the unfairness of having 5 fewer potential eliminations is more or less offset by the mathematical advantage of the games being able to win overall. It's not a perfect solution, but it's about as far as we can get without totally disrupting the tournament.

DOUBLES - One more match to complete and be ready to start the fifth round.

STANDARD - Just the single Japan game to finish and then all Middle East games will have started.

DOUBLES - Fifth round games sent. Scoreboard updated for teams eliminated in 4th round.

STANDARD - Same status with the Japan game, though it doesn't appear deadlocked from the outside looking in... but quickly realizing the Middle East games will take awhile.

ASSASSIN - Playoff round has begun. First to win two matches is the Assassin medalist.

TERMINATOR - Down to that single game in the first round, for which I've offered a tiebreaker. Second round is moving well for the 7 (of 10) groups which started. Scoreboard is fully updated. Once we get to the third round (which I admit will take some time), this should fly much more quickly.

STANDARD - Some of the Middle East games are starting to move with a few eliminations, which is great news. The last Japan match is down to a 4-player affair so perhaps we'll have a winner soon.

ASSASSIN - Playoff match #2 underway.

TERMINATOR - Tiebreaker for the last game in Round 1 is active. Once that's complete, we'll be able to start the final 3 groups for Round 2. In Round 2 itself, several of the groups are complete or nearly complete.

The 4-player games I just sent? All 3 of the other groups are finished or near finished--took about 15 days at the most for some of the games.

As to the question... no, sorry. This is the 25th tournament, with thousands of games at this point. Every single one has been flat rate (with the sole exception of no spoils on head-to-head tiebreakers). I know there are some that won't play my tournaments because of that, which is fine. But I lay things out very clearly beforehand. I'm not going to change the rules mid-stream. There are dozens of escalating tournaments every week--I feel like I offer something much different; a niche which (flat/foggy tournaments) that almost no one else hosts.

TERMINATOR - All second round games started. Most groups finished but will be awhile for the final 3 that just kicked off.

QUADS - One Rail Africa game to complete and then Round 5 can commence.

DOUBLES - Two series to finish and then we're on to Round 6.

STANDARD - No status change; that one Japan match is the first domino that needs to fall.

ASSASSIN - 3 finalists each won one of the first playoff matches. A winner-take-all Playoff Game #4 is next up, just waiting for ESQuire to select the map.

TERMINATOR - Great movement now that we're into Round 2. Things are just a bit staggered because 3 of the 10 groups started late.

Well, while going through the scoring for round 2 of the terminator discipline, it appears I've made a massive mistake. I'll describe it below. I will also be PMing the players directly affected. And I will lay out two options to rectify it. I prefer the option that least disrupts everyone else (#1). But if there is any strong protest, I will consider #2. If we can't reach a resolution, I will bring in a TO to help settle things. I apologize in advance for this--I've never had this happen and it's just the result of cutting and pasting too quickly.

The Problem: After completion of the Group 6 tiebreaker from Round 1, I filled in the final slots for Groups 4L and 6L in Round 2. friesuschrist was supposed to go in Group 4L and Robespierre__ was supposed to go into Group 6L. Instead, I put friesuschrist into both groups.

The Current Situation: Group 4L is complete and, given those results, friesuschrist is eliminated. Group 6L is active and friesuschrist is currently playing in those games.

Non-Negotiables: friesuschrist is eliminated and gets the points he won from 4L. Those games are already complete and I can't allow a second chance. Any points he gets from Group 6L will be ignored.

Solution Option 1: Group 6L is scored as normal and results are posted as normal with the only caveat being friesuschrist cannot advance. If he finishes first or second, the next highest scoring player advances. Then, Robespierre__ is advanced to Round 3. He gains the advantage of advancing another round, but he misses the opportunity to score points in Round 2. Mathematically, it's about a wash.

Solution Option 2: All results from the current Group 6L are voided and the matches are replayed in their entirety with Robespierre__ in his proper place.

Sorry it's been so long, but I've been physically moving and switching jobs again. Long story, but this is just a really hectic month. No concern whatsoever about my tournaments being updated; just the pace of game invites has slown and will be down for another week or so. Apologies for that. Anyway, the update...

STANDARD - Hung up on some Middle East games. Such is life with standard matches here. Will wait as long as necessary but please PM me if you think games are hopeless.

ASSASSIN - Discipline complete. Gilligan has won the playoff and is awarded the +0.50 bonus. He will also receive a General Achievement Medal. Congratulations.

TERMINATOR - Almost all games are complete here, but the scoreboard update is not yet done. Got to handle the one mistake I made and clean things up. Will have more in next update.

TERMINATOR - All Round 2 tables are updated. Most qualifiers for Round 3 are known. Just waiting on one game from Group 6L, a couple games from Group 5L and most games from Group 4W.

The overall table has undergone a full update. If you've been completely eliminated from a discipline and the round that you qualified for has also ended, your score should be posted.

I'd encourage everyone to start checking the math, because there's been a lot of it to do. When the tournament completes, I will triple-check the top several finishers, but a missed calculation caught early on could prevent a lot of headaches down the road.

The overall table is still ordered by the sequence in which you registered. That makes it easiest for me to fill in scores on team games. Once the doubles and quads disciplines are completed, I will re-order the scoreboard by ranking. At that point, people will see what they need in the terminator and standard disciplines if they are still alive.
