GreecePwns, I would like to enter a team from Canada. I can't enter one until I find out what you've decided about the Sequential/Freestyle poll. My Wife is not cool with the level of commitment required to win a Freestyle game. If you decide to go with sequential then......
Team: Canada
Captain: Greycloak
Player 2: Donkey
Alternate: Cheyco

Hitmanblood has it figured out..
Basicallyt rank the 2 man teams from top to bottom (add thier current poins whne you are ready) rank them from 1 -32
If you want - make yourself the 8th ranked team...Your the host
Those 8 get placed one team into each pool. Then the next 8 teams get sorted the same way..one team per pool.
The balance of 16 teams get drawn in order of the teams that need someone.
If you need help - PM me - Glad to help you sort/rank and draw the pools

I have also noticed that some teams have chosen World 2.0
Isn't that map a bit too big for these kind of tournaments? Maybe we should remove it altogether.

No if there are several teams choosen it as their home stadium and we have chosen that it will be played on the sequatial tehn this should be left as chosen

Hehe. You have already stated your opinion. Posting twice does not make more emphasis. Games on World 2.0 can take forever and everyone will be stuck waiting for that game to finish. It is way too big and confusing for tournaments.
However maybe we could do a poll on this one as well after the sequential/freestyle one finishes. I think that's the best way to see what the majority wants.

world 2.0 is perfect for team games in my opinion, as it has so many small bonuses, which you can easily sort out between teams. As for it being bigger than any other map, yes. Longer, not necessarily. Because you get more troops per turn you can easily breakthrough places and conquor new terratories, and as long as you get cards for attacking it is normally worth it.

I agree, it forces you to change the way you play your game a bit too. What fun would it be if EVERY time you went to the game the weather was exactly the same? That's the beauty of having a "Home Game" advantage. you're more used to that particular environment. And World 2.0 games can finish decently fast, if everyone is making their moves. What really slows a game down is when someone doesn't make their turns.

Exactly and teams from the same pool cannot play in the same group.

If the tournament is sequential, then Sultan and I are in.

If, however, it turns out to be a freestyle tournament, or even a home field choice tourney with the possibility of freestyle, then we'll have to bow out... sorry, we're just not big freestyle fans.
