Okay, so your first point is something that has nothing to do with me. That would be a question for the mod when the game is over. I have no idea about how often people can do things on N0. I've only had a N0 in one other game. I also have no idea about balance. I haven't ran a game yet. I have one in the works and if you read it, I set it up so I wouldn't have to deal with balance issues.

You were the one to claim you had a friend who has flavor cop powers. This means you are related to the flavor cop. And since you two decided that you would be doing the talking, Haggis was asking you do do that. Unfortunately, all you choose to come up with is "has nothing to do with me, ask the mod" without even responding to his point.

Now your second point is something that would have to do with me. But your point is also based on a logical fallacy. I never said we could detect one faction. I never said we could detect all factions. To be honest, until I ask tomorrow night, I won't know. The important thing to notice here is that you assumed I could only detect one faction instead of all factions. Something I couldn't answer and ALSO something that shouldn't matter at this point.

Your buddy's a flavor cop. He gets a result based on the allegiancy of the target. Since not all mafia's are related to each other in this game, your food cop thus should get two flavor of pizza. Unfortunately, again, you only announced that "mafia" eat "pizza". There was no mention of any difference between the two, while there should have been. So, once again, you managed to completely miss the point of the argument.

This is your best point yet! Perhaps you should read the mafiascum link you posted here. You know, the one that suggests the mod give the results to flavor cops early?

You are probably referring to this:
"For fairness, the moderator should list the investigation results ahead of time."
This means that your food cop already knows that mafia eat pizza. Otherwise he only had known that Haggis ate pizza, and that's it. So, again, you managed to show the best of your selectively reading skills.



Mind you, I'm not believing anyone just yet. In this case though I think you, THM, should answer some questions first.

Okay fine.

#1 - He was asking questions about game balance and investigations on N0. I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea about this. I don't know what Victor was thinking or what roles get N0 investigations! How could he possibly expect me to answer this?

#2 - I don't know how many mafia factions can be detected. All I know is Haggis is an extra anchovy pizza. He took this to mean that he was a godfather/godmother. Perhaps another faction will return extra sausage pizza. I don't know. We didn't get to analyze the results together because I didn't see his PMs until after day started. I am pretty sure though that all mafia shows as pizza and the toppings might just be to confuse us. I will get more information on that part of the role tonight.

#3 - Okay, lol... Some misreading there. I will forward the PM I got to Vic and give him the time and see if he says we are in trouble...

He probably doesn't; I think he wants to point out that if such a role existed it would be imbalanced, and thus such a role couldn't exist.

I thought that the extra topping was either to throw us off or that he was important. I seriously doubt it means mafia 1 or mafia 2. It wasn't in his role PM because he said he didn't know what it meant. He thought it meant he was godfather/godmother.

Additionally I apologized for "stealing" your work once in Briasburg and I haven't claimed it to be mine since.

Since you claim to still be sore, I'll say it again. Thanks for the links, it helped me re-read the player's posts in isolation and sorry for inadvertently "stealing" your work(thought the guy was referring to my analysis). Now just drop it already.
