violet you shouldn't vote or unvote ppl on the grounds of "being nice", or whatever other personal feelings you might have for them, i mean i find the herk damn annoying and i am not voting him all the time neh? maybe as day 1 it could pass, but you cant use this as a serious reason for vote anyone once the game have gotten serious, I'm not trying to be preachy, but i do want to help in the learning process of the new players of mafia here ^^

Idk why I feel so disturbed by this post, but it seems like he is trying to warn vio or buddy with her (although I can't see herk being subtle enough to try buddying someone). After seeing how he plays in my briarsburg game, this seems like a subtle hint toward a mate to be careful. I can't really explain much, but let's just say that this post alone gives me a strong hunch that the two of them are somehow connected. Maybe they are lovers in the resteraunt, or siblings, but the possibility remains that they may be scummies. It's more of a hunch than a scumtell, but from my experience hunches are just as good.

For those who desire a more analytical view, consider the context of this post. As anyone who has seen him play can tell, herk basically posts anything and everything that comes to mind. Now, if this is true why would he feel the desire to warn violet of anything? I have seen how he is a very aggressive player and basically makes accusations all over the place. Trying to help another seems unlike him unless he is somehow tied to them. Thats just my interpretation though.

this seems very thought out i am worried that you might just be mafia trying to kill two birds with one stone just in case he is a lover (as you said above) without wasting your NK... i will not vote one way or another just yet but i will put this out there for others to ponder

It could equally be likely to be a mason relationship. I notice VioIet is being a bit erratic in some of her posts, although the lead is a good one, I'm not convinced that the post itself is suspicious given that VioIet initiated the questionable posting.

Yea, I'm considering the different possibilities here. Masons I am not so sure about, just because I can't see how you would fit it into the theme, but anything is possible. Lovers are more likely (nice restaurant date) and would also explain why herk is concerned, after all his life is on the line too. I'm not totally discounting the fact that they could be town. My hunch is by no means a confirmation of their guilt, but it is a lead on who those two might be. Day 1 leads are never great, but I feel fairly confident in pursuing this one.

To be honest, I was just baiting violet with my petty accusations on her posts to gauge others' reactions. Her posting wasn't all that scummy, but it was easily construed as such. While I was expecting to see a small BW form (either against her or against me for OMGUS) and watch people bicker, herk's message stood out to me as the oddest.

Flores, I agree with you to an extent. And of course I appreciate the advice, BUT.......

my original vote was a joke vote. when i realized he had four other joke votes on him, i quickly unvoted. Thought that was the right thing to do as for as the game is concerned. Not fair for one to have four votes on them with no evidence or leads, and we don't want a careless lynch. So I was alarmed- unvoted, and asked how many needed for a lynch, so I could be more cautious from that point on. As well as others. Usually mods include how many votes needed for a lynch in their vote count post. It wasn't in there, so I asked.
I thought it was the right thing to do. And what was the response I get???? WTH!!!!
The vote is not personal; squirrel is very nice outside of mafia. I just did not appreciate the snarky, sarcastic non-helpful comment. That doesn't sit well with me.

Well, the standard way to figure it out is too take the number of players and then calculate the majority of 1/2 + 1. So, with 14 players then it would be 8 for a lynch. The number of players alive is generally available in the first post. So not taking the small amount of time needed to check that give the impression that you were being lazy...
