I say go for it plash!!!

I've nailed a triple in one of my spots (my favorite play in baseball)

Nothing I enjoy more then watching a Jose Reyes triple. My early games look like they might be grind them out type affairs. As far as hitting for the cycle with hrs, I meant the kid hit a solo shot, a 2 run shot, a 3 run shot, and a grand slam all in the same game! (you can watch him and the rest of the kids from Toms River NJ on ESPN 2 on Monday night when they play some team from PA for the Mid Atlantic crown.)

Question about scoring: With runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs, does a double play result in the lead runner advancing to 3rd?

Yes, good question...the lead runner goes to third, and the common 2nd to 1st double play will be in effect.

Also a note: I've updated the boxscores through some early at-bats. I can't add batter #4 in until I know what's happened in the 1, 2 & 3 spots, so if you've finished a map, but don't see the result yet, that's why.

Finally, I've sent invites to those who haven't joined yet, but won't have time to do that all tourney long. So please join when I sent out the first batch to keep the games moving. Those who fail to join opening maps by Wednesday will be replaced by a reserve.

Well, aren't you a pleasant fellow?

Play order is completely random. The tourney organizer has no control over that.

Yes, the turn order is randomly set by the site...like I said before there are a lot of maps involved in each game...let's just try to have fun with it :)

Lots of my dice are just displaying a single dot on them, it's bullshit.
Come on flex, sort it out.
These rolls should be random!

Fyi gdbudman...you're doing nothing but making yourself look incredibly rude and foolish. I'd stop before you make it on to any more foe lists. If you have a real complaint, file an e-ticket. Otherwise, stop with the hateful talk in the tourney thread.

gdbudman.....i didn't say gg, because you posted you quit, and i seen another player fill in on the chat board, thus i thought he/she took over. besides why would i say gg to someone who would complain, cuss, and insist my victories are tainted, when a good strategic player would find other ways to win, than going first.

Hi all...gdbudman has been dropped from the tournament for poor sportsmanship. I don't mind asking questions or some complaints, but felt gdbudman had crossed the line both in the tourney thread and in his game chat.

I've gone to the reserve list for a replacement for his spots on Monterrey.

I'm hoping the bottom half our lineup is going to be able to get things going, as GreenBaize is just dominating me early on. Meanwhile it looks like Flex is on the verge of reaching his pitch count and its only the 2nd inning!

Yes, this is an evenly matched first-round game...I had some good maps in there, but also let some long balls land in the outfield :)
