reserve needed for group I?

edit to add: Ok I did a little detective work. Homewok joined the tourney but Homework is listed in our group. Maybe the invite was sent to Homework in error?

the first of 112 games is finished. you'll find your group standings in this google spreadsheet:

round 1 standings

80 of 112 round 1 games are finished by now. 7 of the 16 groups have completed all their 7 games, 6 of the remaining 9 only have 1 to 4 games left. however there is group M which seems to be pretty balanced. no game is finished in group M yet.

all the players that did already advance can check their round 2 groups on the spreadsheet. games will be sent out as soon as round 1 is finished or even a bit earlier.

due to flat rate mode is better to have a limit so the games not to last for ever. like for example whoever has more troops after round 20 (you set this) wins the 5 points, second place 3 etc...

alternatively in order to give higher motive to end games quicker you can say that if not finished after e.g. 20 rounds, win as above but you get only half points or something like that.

yes. I didn't realize that for round 1. I set a limit to finish round 1 now. as I'm in Florida for a couple of days, round 1 will end after I come back on Nov 20.

round 2 games will be sent out on Nov 21, early in the morning (4-5am EST). round 2 games will have a certain limit. I will communicate that as I send the games.

Sorry for the delay on round 2 but I haven't thought about these neverending games that are still on. I haven't seen one before...

it's funny that this comment came from one of the 4 players that are still playing a round 1 game... one of the 4 players everybody was waiting for to finish their games...

anyway, I had some back problems this week and wasn't feeling like sitting in front of my computer for long. but all round 2 games are sent out now, some are running already.

remember, games have to be finished until January 16 or they don't count.

you'll find standings here, as usual:

standings

if you have any questions, send me a pm or post here. thanks

Cmon now no need to be rude. Sometimes games take awhile. If you wanted it to be done at a certain time you should have specified it like you did in round 2. Sometimes people need an incentive to complete a "Flat rate" game inducing myself :)

Sorry for the wait everyone.

Thanks for updating the tourney.
