[player]ahunda[/player] - He takes "team communication" to a whole new level. A scary level.

[player]beersurfer[/player] - Back when I first hit corporal first class, I thought I was really hot stuff and snuck into one of his open quad games (back before the invite feature). He took the time to teach me how to play team games.

[player]danryan[/player] - I can't say enough nice things about him. Great clan leader, great teammate, great friend, and funny as hell. And he can constantly maintain 100+ games of every setting without losing his mind. That alone deserves respect.

[player]laddida[/player] - It's a horrible feeling playing against him and realizing why he's kicking your ass about 2 rounds too late.

[player]L M S[/player] - Ah, the bromance. He actually makes games FUN, and is the only person capable of calming me down as I rock back and forth in a corner mumbling "14 vs. 2 lose all." The chats with him are like no other. Just ask him.

Honorable mention: 300spartans (team play), Blitz (opponent), brian fletcher (great team play), FarangDemon (strategy), JR (opponent, no bullshit personality), King_Herpes (strategy), MNDuke (a genuinely kind guy once you get to know him), SpaceCowboy (opponent), wolfpack0530 (great team play, ability to attack a teammate for humor value), and a few of the TOFU players...they all kinda blur together in my mind.

Too tough a subject to limit it to five. It's akin to being asked which 10 songs you'd take to a desert island, i.e. there are just too many one has to omit. So I'll write a ditty instead

(all equally 1st):
1. CoF- by far best team strategic mind i had pleasure to play with or against.
1. Blitzaholis- as i said long time ago, most versatile player around here.
1. Chuuuuck- brilliant and humble, something you dont see very often.
1. waseemalim- unlike others on this list, i would never put him on "humble" list, but he is maybe the only guy that scares the shit out of me when i see him in other team
1. HighlanderAttack- he mastered 1 vs 1, something i was thinking is impossible.

also, i might put HardAttack and lordnex there, but they being in my clan preserves me from doing it. and of course, Bogan, but he is just too big of an idiot to be looked seriously.

In my opinion 5 players stand out as the best all around players I have had the chance to play against/with.

[player]White Moose[/player]- My normal doubles partner, but that doesnt get him on this list, its his ability to learn new maps quickly and keep a cool head when facing doing high level (not rank but skill level) players while having bad dice.

[player]Benjikat is dead[/player]- This guy was a beast. I dont think I need to say more about him.

[player]Waseemalim[/player]- With benjikat is dead getting so much recognition Waseemalim's skill is easy to overlook. To overlook this skill is a fatal error as he is just as good as his former teammate.

[player]Chariot of Fire[/player]- An exceptional team player who leaves his opponents begging for mercy.

[player]Army of Achilles[/player]- Another great player now retired from cc. He wasn't someone you wanted as your opponent.

We should get CoF's remake of that classic stickied, that was rediculous... And a complete realization on his part that he has way too much time in reserve for CC-related jingles.

First, a thanks to Goldknight and trapyoung for mentioning me! You guys are great.

As far as gaming skills goes, I've not had the opportunity yet to play against many of the well known players here, or at least not often enough to count. But that doesn't mean I don't respect many.

Chariot of Fire took a chance on me in TOFU and has taught me a lot.
Lubawski always seems respectful and polite.
Freakns - his posts just crack me up every time.
Jpeter15 for being a great, underrated teammate who loves to talk and have fun about as much as I do.

I can't choose a fifth. Too many still here to list - trapyoung, Dako, Iron Maid, the great mapmakers such as cairnswk, qwert, DiM, widowmakers, pamoa, lackattack...

not to sure about Bruce Willis, can be a bit of a dick attacking stacks in escalating.

wow... i dont usually post in forums ... because of all the banter ... but the top5 i would have to say ... and these or not rated in any particular order

a) Chariot of Fire ... solid teammate and most challenging opponent ... can really read the map and make best decision based on board status

b) Wild_tiger ... one of the absolute best dubs partners on the site ... if you havent played an 8 man dubs game with this guy, then you havent seen it all yet ...

c) King Herpes ... i dont know what else to say ... singles dubs trips quads freestyle sequential ...you name it .. this guy does it all with a hilarious view ...

d) ahunda ... one of the most methodical strategists i have yet to see ... he evaluates every possible scenario and then makes difficult decisions based on everything he sees ... incredible prowess

e) laddida ... i hate playing against him and his dice ... but i can think of no other player who consistently picks up the mistakes of other players and feeds it back to them all-the-while never breaking a sweat .... Respect goes a long way, even though i dont always show it

Now these 5 players (mentioned above) were the most influential in my style of play ... and i learned more from watching them and how they perceive the boards (maps) and then react ... their are at least 25 other players i have the utmost respect for and surely can dominate any game, any map, any settings, any time (dice permitting, of course)

honorable mentions: timmy1, king of gods, blitzaholic, dragon dor, just call me stupid, seulessthian, general mojo -and team, farangdemon, moonsoon7, tsioumiou, lokisgal, eaglesofgreenerth, 300 spartans, cutebastard71, dcc1220, the space cowboy, master fenrir, redfelt, demonfork, aeromate, and forza az ...

hope no one else takes offense if i didnt remember to put you in here ... and i wont mention the lost souls who have been kicked off the site who really understood how the game was meant to be played in spite of their beliefs and vocalizing them

king herpes is pretty funny... I like him. He use to get me to team with him a lot last year when my rank really sucked but I was a decent player. We pulled out some hellacious comeback wins.. and here is the thing I remember about him the most, he was like a conqueror or a general or really high at the time, and he NEVER told me where to play, he just kind of trusted me... he cursed me when I fucked up, but never told me what to play.

I kind of always respected that about him.
