Yes, in every mafia game I ever play, regardless of role or alignment I will be curious, questioning and inquisitive.

I don't have anything to lead me towards lynching a specific person, especially since talk is dying down. It might be time to simply go with voting patterns since it's obvious noone has enough information to risk revealing themselves. Then again, scum could be on other side for both lynches. Dakky's lynch was people just wanting a lynch and buj's lynch was slow enough for other/all scum to jump on it if they wanted to.

It's hard to create conversation
with little information.

Just reading through the last couple of pages. Sam is veeeeery cautious to not do anything at all. How do we get anywhere if you sit on your vote?

strike wolf wrote:I have mixed feelings on Mitch. As one of the people who left yesterday with strong town vibes, he could have been a target of mafia and killed Skoffin. On the other hand, why admit to It? I've heard this question. I don't have a strong reason why he might. Would mafia consider Mitch' s randomness a bad bet? Or would they rely on towns inability to accurately read him/take him seriously as a plus?

With all due respect, I don't think mafia would target mitch. He's pulled off scum play before, but for him to be scum, it would require an x-shot day kill (presumably one-shot). I think mitch is town.

@Mets, do you honestly think that mafia recruited mitch at the expense of DDS? When I read through the two first days, DDS didn't seem to get too much heat.

Yes, you are very inquisitive, but you don't take any stands. Whom do you suspect apart from whatever random player happens to call you out on not contributing. I mean, you didn't even google the yakuza role.

Frustrating when a player drops a potential bomb shell and then disappears for several days without explaining why he came to that conclusion. Particularly frustrating when the player he called out is someone I'm otherwise tempted to follow on a reasonable Pika case.

I haven't liked Sam since his role fish explanation to Buj. Now Buj seemed a bit fixated on Sam early in the game which was similar to how he reacted to Skoff (proven town through death). Also, Buj's reaction to Sam being inactive was similar to how he reacted when I was 'inactive'. So they did have a bit of an odd connection but he reacted similarly to how he reacted to townies on two separate occasions. It might e worthwhile to look at the inactives that Buj didn't react to on Day 2.

Of course, if I could find more time to look into people...

Ragian, why randomly gun at me, one of the few players that is contributing to this moribund game?

Who do I suspect? geez...
1. strike wolf : He wants more info from Benga, so do I.... but we all want more info from a lot of people,
3. metsfanmax : Few posts, even fewer substantative.
4. Samlen : He plays it close to the vest in every game... I don't know.
5. Thorthoth : Trying to make sense of the endless lies, red herrings and blank spaces.
8. Skittles! : He's been prodded... that's all I know about him.
9. Ragian : Hey, he's pIcking on me w/o real evidence, and I know I'm not scum. I think he just thinks I'm an easy lynch.
10. Pikanchion : Mandy, Sam etc are suspicious of him. I honestly forge twhy at this point. Please remind me.
11. mandalorian2298 : Points his finger a lot. I gather that behavior is considered towny... so I'm sure a decent scum-player would do the same thing.
13. madmitch : He killed town without good reason, admitted he killed town without good reason... Is everybody going to let this slide with just a "Mitch will be Mitch"? Still this is the scummiest thing that I've seen. Sure, I'll try to get this ball rolling: FOS Mitch.
14. aage : It's been awhile since he said something...
16. benga : Very interesting outburst earlier... but w/o any corroboration... I don't know if I believe him on not.

That's where I stand right now. So, I gave suspicious nudge at Mitch for a glaringly obvious reason... but beyond that I don't have any deep insights. this is proving to be a rather intractable game...

At this point, perhaps the Mod is who
Should give us players a solid clue?

Gee, I dunno... maybe something more than a player actually participating in the game he's playing.

just give it a rest.

In fact, the course actually is clear. There are two obvious scum-benefitting behaviors we can target.
1. Not participating benefits scum, let's lynch a scumariner.
2. Killing a townie benefits scum, let's lynch Mitch.

I just gave town two ways forward,
Which one shall we head toward?

I don't think it's particularly likely that DDS would sacrifice himself to recruit mitch, unless they had knowledge of a particular role that mitch has that they want. I was merely commenting that mitch's behavior would make sense if that was in fact what happened.

So, Thor, what's the benefit of lynching someone who's barely participating? Do you think lack of posts is equal to non-town alignment? What would you do if you lynched someone barely participating who flipped town? What would you have learned from that? Where will you do next?

I don't want your blood because you're participating. It's your content I'm challenging. Everyone can question things, but that doesn't let anyone know where you stand. That just makes you look as if you're participating. This is the point that needs to get across.

okay this game is going no where so lets spicy it up

manda vote just came from my intuition, he seems to be really quite before I casted my vote on him

N1 I offered gift to 3 players: aage, Samlen, thorthoth
thor is the only one not to call about it one so I presume he took the gift
that makes him scum?

N2 I gave strike wolf gift with which he can revert back to his original state
so as far as I know he is not town anymore

take this little gem
and make it into jam

So I have a couple issues with that claim:

1. I have not been told about any alignment change nor did the gift I got have anything to do with alignment.
2. Why would try to give something to someone who would revert from town to third party?

Now my words I will not mince
Bengas claim doesn't make sense.

Id prefer Benga answer his own accusations.

I did check with TFO in regards to what would happen if I had been recruited by mafia and then reverted on the same night and whether I'd be told. The answer was no. So I can't actually rule out the possibility that I was recruited in the Yakuza incident and the gift reverted me to town.

That's all I wanted to address.
Hey look! It's mand y in a dress.

Did SW say that you were lying? Didn't he just say that he has not been informed of any alignment change? Also, Benga, didn't you just say that Thor is scum?

Yes but even if we assume strike wolf is lying the question remains: why would you do that?

Also Thorthoth, did you accept the gift night 1?

Finally we have some intrigue,
it has healed the collective fatigue.

MOD NOTE: Y'all are quiet.

On a serious note, I need your guys opinion. Doubt most of you know, Thorthoth has received a forum ban. Due to me being a part of the mod team, I want to remain impartial to the decision.

Do you want to all wait for his ban to run it's course, or should I look for a replacement?

Also,

Vote Count:

Skittles!: Pikanchion(1)
Benga: metsfanmax(1)
Pikanchion: mandalorian2298(1)
Thorthoth: madmitch(1)
Strike wolf: benga(1)

Deadline is set for December 17th at 17:00CCT. With 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.
