Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
I'm also uncertain what if anything Charle said was true and what was false.
Starting with was he the strigas servant by night and an archeologist by day?
I've got it in my mind that the archeologist was a claim provided that was also true.
After the claim itself I've got it in my mind that he was provided with answers but then maybe twisted the answers when telling us what they were.
Same applies to what he said was the note he received saying not to trust the D1 note etc.
My guess is there was truth in the most part but with some editing/lies weaved in among the truths - and I for one won't be able to definitively work out what is what re what Charle posted.

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
2 things are unsettling me;
1 There's not much posting here following last night - (silence in posting is also unfortunately mod encouraged by the mexican standoff post by Ewe)
2. Have there been conversions in the game?
Did we really start with 2 of each scum faction in which case conversions of more into scum would make this really difficult for town - but maybe if we started with
just 1 of each, with 1 conversion allowed by each scum faction that wouldn't be so so difficult for town.
Also would scum on scum conversions be a possibility, and what would be outcome of that - failure, scum teams merging, a third or even possibly fourth scum faction -
the night 1 creature on creature fight in the story is making me think there might have been an attempted conversion (scum on scum) but I can't work out what might
have been the outcome of any such attempt.
Or maybe the whole conversions thing is a red herring.
I think I have to just accept the unsettled and uncertain feelings I have re conversions unless someone can guide me to clarity - but the relative lack of postings D4 from everyone except me and vot is something I just don't get.

Ok, open cards.
I am alive and I will be tinfoiled. Strike was vanillaised, strike was my mason buddy. This was why I was confused about receiving the masonic sword, because imo Strike could have still used it and he tried giving it to Ragian but was roleblocked.

I was able to hand off the masonic sword - it can only be held by town. They can claim it whenever they want to, I feel like it's not on me to reveal who is town.
Vanillaised does NOT mean Vanilla in this game. Strike received new abilities, but I cant look up what they were again because chat room only goes so far up.
Dev is now new mason buddy, welcome Dev.
If flavour is to be believed, jfm was converted by vampires but killed by wolves?

Sonic revealed some stuff in mason chat about other roles in the game so I wouldnt be surprised. Fusi did confirm he vanilla'd ragian.Loose Canon wrote:I'm also uncertain what if anything Charle said was true and what was false.

What is going on??
Don't agree with (but am unsure) about your jfm thing. I read it eaten twice meant killed by werewolf then eaten by the wild boar thing - but that's minor.
Agreed with your call that evidence was rag was probably scum, but didn't get you arriving at that seemingly with an either Charle or rag bit of deductive analysis. Thought both were probably scum myself.
There's a few things I'm not understanding ew and don't know whether I can put them to one side just because I don't understand them?

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
To be clear, this is a Loose quote not a Pixar quote, ...and it is also a very good question.
Firstly, what is it?
• A player forced ot be a ghost, perhaps contrary to alignment?
• A power role (force) held by a ghost?
• A power role that affects ghosts?
• A ghost that went through a meat grinder?'
Secondly, who is it?
Is it really a player character?
And with so much mod instruction/interference, ...are any of us fully player characters in this game?
Also this latest ad hoc nonsense about a 'force ghost' must be better addressed.Loose Canon wrote:Sorry but there is something else that isn't adding up neatly here.

The masonic axe is used to cut off the head of lynchees. That one will go to another townie (masons first) whenever I die.
The masonic sword can simply be given to another players as a night action and functions as a cop of some sorts. If the sword arrives, it means the recipient can hold it and they have a new night action. If given to scum, the sword doesn't arrive and you know that person is scum (or redirected).
Pix claiming sword tells me that Pix wasn't redirect-messed with, because I intended to give it to Pix as well.

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
Well I have been receiving information from Sonic that I couldn't otherwise know (and generally assume to be true), so I assume the same must be for wolves and vampires.Loose Canon wrote:That's the second and third time you've referred to sonic.Extreme Ways wrote:Sonic revealed some stuff in mason chat about other roles in the game so I wouldnt be surprised. Sonic said at max, we could see 5 kills.
I'm going back to the 2-2-2-2-2 thing
2 backup masons
2 masons
2 scum
2 werewolves
2 normal townies
2 ???
1 count

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
If this list has meaning, which I kinda doubt, then there are/were 3 striga scum, 2 wolf?-scum, and 8 townies. That already seems unbalanced.Extreme Ways wrote:Well I have been receiving information from Sonic that I couldn't otherwise know (and generally assume to be true), so I assume the same must be for wolves and vampires.Loose Canon wrote:That's the second and third time you've referred to sonic.Extreme Ways wrote:Sonic revealed some stuff in mason chat about other roles in the game so I wouldnt be surprised. Also at one point, wasn't the stand-alone 13th player supposed to be the one the striga was searching for?
Besides, now Sonic is saying this 'force ghost' is the 'other guy'.

yeah im not sure what is fog and what is intended to find meaning in
but the original setup had 7v2v2 I believe, and we have more backup masons here.

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
Pix, I'm going to decline making a claim for 3 specific reasons
1. I might still have something of use to town
2. I don't think you need me to make a claim for the purposes of today's lynch.
3. I'm wary of deferred conversions
I've also got a generally confused/uncertain set of feelings and thoughts.

2) he can only be a wolf

Re: The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone
This falls into the I've thought it so I'll say it category.
There's been a predominance of vampire flavour over werewolf flavour apparently.
Maybe we started with 1 werewolf but with conversion power.
Maybe the conversion is triggered at one point in the game but doesn't become fully effective until another.
Maybe a converted knows they will be converted.
I noticed last night was a half moon not a full moon.
You don't become a werewolf for first time till a full moon - do you?
Would scarily put everyone in a possible scum werewolf frame.

No not really. Pix advocated for a mass claim and you're one of the people I'd love to come forward sooner rather than later with that, if we're following through with that.Ragian wrote:I'm neither.
