[
Adding XML stamp]
After checking the XML file, I am glad to confirm that this time everything in the code seems to be right.

Just a minor comment. Duguay-Trouin seems to be hyphenated in the map, but not in the XML. One of them should be fixed.
Congratulations cairnswk!

I've just a couple of minor suggestions:
- one way attack arrow Pluton-Poliphemus could be centered.
- Ajax label could be moved up to not cover the connection between ajax and orion
- two ways arrow between Prince and S.J.N could be shortened a bit to not have the left side of the arrow on the smoke of the cannon.
Except for those minor things it looks ready to go imo.

Last Call
The map has passed through rigorous gameplay and graphics examinations and all major concerns have been addressed. If you have any other concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be stamped and submitted for the Beta period.
Please, post questions and concerns if any.

probably when some of the current beta maps are quenched. so pray that all the xml issues and gameplay faults are fixed quickly otherwise you'll have to wait for some time.

Ah ah ah I love this moment! let me say you're 100% wrong....maybe you'll learn that not everything is like it seems when you see just a part of what is going on. (this, let me think about a thing Lincoln said)
Anyway it's clear that patience is not a your virtue DiM.
Now, cairnswk I'm doing a special thing related with this map, this is why it is on hold, I'll put it on Beta as soon as I'm ready with it, in any case no more than 1 or 2 days from now.

tnb80, please
do NOT give special consideration (if that is what you are saying) i expect to wait like everyone else and doing otherwise will create unpleasantness.
I simply wanted to know an estimate of how long before this map was betad that's all.
1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month would have been good answers

Don't worry it's not related with you.
Everyone here has the same consideration.
Just the map fits, just that.

well then i'm glad that i'm wrong. but the problem is that this whole beta process is wrapped in secrecy. everything is laid out plain in the open but when a map hits final forge something behind the scene happens and maps slow down. all we have is speculation. if you hold the correct info then share it with us. right now some people are convinced there's a limit to how many maps are in beta and that's why others are forced to wait. if that's not true then please enlighten us.
thenobodies80 wrote:Anyway it's clear that patience is not a your virtue DiM.

actually it is. you'll be surprised to know i'm an extremely patient person but only when i know all the facts.
for example when i opened my business i did everything that i had to do really fast and got to a point where i had nothing to do but wait for some workers to finish their part doing some renovation. i would stop by every now and then and saw that they were working and i was pleased to see they were doing their best. i didn't even tell them once to hurry up and i waited patiently for them to finish.
the difference between that situation and this one is that now i don't see anything i don't know anything and i'm simply being told to wait. this is what makes me impatient.

I am not an impatient person...and i know tnb will act when he is ready...and there appears to be something going on behind the scenes perhaps that is secretive...
but it is now 5 days..i am wondering if everyone is having a Mediterranean holiday or too much claret or chianti or simply sheer pipe-dreams of Tuscan meadow lazing with a pyt beside

Ah ah, no I'm at work in Milan

Anyways, I'm ready, just waiting that the other maps I've stamped the last week are uploaded....no meaning in creating an endless queue...so I'm waiting like you and anyone else.

So from this i can deduct that there are files waiting to be uploaded, that have been betad, and other maps waiting behind them that have not been betad but still have to be and these maps haven't had their files sent to lackattack for uploading because they are not betad.
Do tell me please tnb80, how many maps can be in beta at once?
Mmmm sounds awfully italian to me...

No limit.
I wrote here a longer explanation, but I decided to delete it because I don't want to push your map thread off topic. I'll give you a better explanation into foundry discussion this evening, when back at home.

Beta!!!

---The
Final Forge period has concluded for the
Trafalgar Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry
and I hereby brand this map with the
Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for
BETA Play. After an extended period of time in
BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into
Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).
Conquer Club, enjoy! While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing: 1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
2. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
