Crap I just read MM's message to me again ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

He said I would have explaining if two people died tonight. I totally skim read that and that is good because he didn't breach moderator rules by telling me unsolicited information. Sorry MM I am a twat. Anyway I have explaining to do regardless as I am in the night scene looking all scummy

Ugh... I don't think Tim targeted me now - nor anyone it seems (apart from maybe Rag from his bunker) no NUKES for you MM.

So night four -

Strike - no action possible (all but confirmed)
Dakky - no action possible ( all but confirmed)
Ga7 - role blocked tim
Samlen - investigated tim
Nag - checked tim for gun (confirmed gun holder)
Skittles - role blocked strike
Mitch - watched strike (confirms skittles visit) - I would say this testimony clears skittles

Fircoal/Rag do you have your night actions?

I am dancing around a theory right now but it is slightly out there so may not be to everyones taste but it is something in a game where we appear to be seriously struggling for reasonable leads.

Double post, but I feel like posting my thoughts now.

My first thought is scum may have had fake claims. In a game with limited choices we can say it is reasonably likely that mafia are given fake claims - with all the role claims out there it seems even more likely.

We know that benga successfully claimed Celts without a counter claim. Then later in the game we had Hotshot who declared himself to be "Montezuma II of Aztec, a third party survivor just trying to stay out of the way of all you warmongering countries on the other side of the ocean."

I am not being funny but what kind of crazy claim is that? It sounds like he wanted to be caught out with his crazy lie as part of a plan. Now I am thinking this may have been either Fircoal or Hotshot's fake claim given to him. At this point, hotshot was toast. He had been role blocked, there had been no death, he had scummily hammered aage, he had scummily defended benga. There was no way he wasn't getting lynched that day phase.

Now I reckon that in the night him and Fircoal devised a plan, Hotshot would claim the leader of the Aztecs, Fircoal would counterclaim, Hotshot would get lynched and Fircoal would look insta-town. A great plan.

The supporting evidence to this theory on Fircoal is that Fircoal is always the last to provide his night actions. This makes them easily manipulated to base around the other night actions. Meanwhile he is ultra helpful by putting them all in a nice chart whilst we all run rings around each other :) This happened in the last day phase, today he has conveniently not provided his action again, looking like he'll be the last to update us all.

I understand this is a little out there but even if people don't want to lynch Fircoal based around my mandy-esque theory I would appreciate it if anyone with a Spy Network checked him out in the next night phase. Gandhi welcomes anyone to come to his civilisation with their spies hiding in a bunker too FYI :D

I'm nitpicking here ... but... make your mind, are there multiple barbarians or the final one?

Since mitch watched Strike who was visited by Skittles and I was blocked from any actions as well as Strike, it leaves ga7, Samlen, Rage, Fircoal and YOU nag.

I think there is just the one but not 100%. The moderator references my character Gandhi in the night scene, I think it is clear I am not a barbarian from that - unless you think I made all of the above up for lolz.

To me, the two that are sleeping the most are Fircoal and Ragian. I agree with nag about Fircoal giving charts etc making us overlook him. Ragian has been slipping by easily since Day 1.

I'm still suss about strike, however I admit that I forgot that strike didn't need to accept the war declaration, so my bad. For now I will unvote.

Uh I highly doubt it. I mean we all ragged on Celts being a weak claim, and Hotshot's claim directly went up against my own nation. I think it's pretty clear that Masket did not give the scum fake claims. I mean if he did don't you think he would have gotten something more legitimate sounding than Celts?

As for the chart I do that on purpose because of the night action that I've used everynight. It's exactly the type of action that can catch if people trip up. That said at this point I can just say what I did.

I watched Ragian and saw that Tim had visited him. The interesting thing is we have the case that Frenchie-chan blocked Tim but yet I still see him as visiting Ragian. Considering this isn't the first time we had something like this I'm guessing either that's how MM does this stuff or that Frenchie-chan is lying. I'd say the former just because of Tim's earlier unsuccessful action.

Now all we need is Ragian's action and the chart should be complete.

I dont think GA ever claimed to block Tim night 2. He was bunkerEd down as he himself said.

Also I don't think I remembered to mention this earlier but how can you be sure there is only one scum left Nag? It seems to me in a nonstandard game with 16 players, 4 scum is more likely than 3.

Sorry. I meant the fact that Tim got an unsuccessful result Night 2. I think we had speculated it was a block and if so that points to the idea that that is how Masket does it.

I agree. There should be 2 left I think. 4 scum in a 16 player game is the standard. Even more so with all these power roles we're getting.

Yeah, tough weekend.

Anyway, I checked if skittles! has a gun. He hadn't as of last night.

I pointed to a discrepancy D4. Did we clear that up? I can't remember anything

4 would seem more balanced though this is Masket we are talking about ;)

If there are two people still to catch who would you say they therefore were ?

It's a tough question

Ragian wrote:Should we not consider the discrepancy between Tim being blocked and Chu seeing him visiting Ga7 anyway? Surely, there's something there.

This was the thing I was looking for...(also corrected my language with blue)

I can't see it cleared up anywhere, and now we can't ask Tim for clarification. If ga7 was cleared at some point (he was, wasn't he...?...by whom?), that leaves Chu as the odd one out. Any thoughts anyone?

So I'm currently in the hospital after waking up with a high fever. Prognosis is that I have a bad kidney infection but awaiting tests.

I wonder why I didn't get anything by reaching the atomic era. Looks like you had weapons before as well... maybe they just got upgraded to Nukes...?

Looks like nag is Gandhi for real... is Gandhi a bad guy in the Civ series?

fp'd by mitch... you should wait for a clarification about Gandhi...

Guys... a quick google search about Civ Gandhi would show that he is a nuke happy nation once reaching the atomic age. It started out as a bug in one of the earlier games but the developers thought it was funny so they added it in every game since. It's not suss that nag got this feature in this game.

Way to skim man I've already said it in my first post in the day. I was given this in the night phase by the moderator - it was a secret ability that has only just been revealed.

Alright, cheers, Nag. So, if there's anything to be had in the aforementioned discrepancy, samlen and Ga7 would both look guilty. Has anyone proven sammen's innocence?

Not definitively. Then again, it doesn't look like anyone else has built a spy network so the most surefire way would be to roleblock me which would also delay concrete investigations.
