I agree, it's uncomfortable trying to express these things. I just power through that part.
I must have blocked this.
Once I was no long able to hug her because of equipment being in the way, I held her hand a lot and kissed her forehead every time I arrived and left.

Well, Mum's gone - I arrived about an hour before she went. Back home to move house, then back to Wales for the funeral.

It was good to see her one last time. There's a story to that whixh I'll relate when I have a sec.
i'm sorry she's gone, but her quality of life was so low just lately that I don't feel her passing was a shame.
