I know but you still have the role she had, so it would carry on to you. And by acting, I mean how people like AD had figured out her role from her hinting at it in posts. I thought maybe it was Jane...Skittles! wrote:browng-08 wrote:Shit. I thought RD was Calamity Jane. I didn't watc the show, but In the intro, wasn't she the town drunk... and with RD's "acting"...
RD isn't in this game anymore. Plus RD normally acts like that

Seriously people, even if your role in the game is hider....IT'S STILL PROTOWN! Why in the world would you hide with a person who painted a target on themselves day 1?
Do you know who LSU hid with, then? Cause the way I read it, the day scene doesn't contain a hint about that. Or do hiders die as well when the person they hide with is assassinated? I've never been one myself...
Ah, never mind. I read it again and it seems you are right. I first assumed the little blond girl was the killer, but I guess Sophia Metz is blond?
Also, does everyone agree that Calamity Jane was targeted herself, rather than dying as a bodyguard?
Other than that, I'm afraid I haven't got any info to share.
For what it's worth, and it may not be much, it seems knives are the preferred killing tool. I don't know the show, so I don't know if that can lead to useful conclusions, but I thought I'd bring it up.

Elite bodyguard kills a person who attacks the person they are trying to protect, so I think she was targeted herself. The scene makes it pretty clear that she died because she was hiding behind Jane, and like several people here, I have no clue as to why someone would hide behind such a viable kill target.
I bought a gold pan last night, and as such, have no information from last night.

I wasn't clear in my last paragraph (4 hours of sleep
) but the first sentence was in regards to lala, and the second about LSU.

My guess is he wanted to verify Lala's claim. Had he survived, he would have been able to give us useful information. I guess he gambled that mafia would take out one of the bigger players. The main goal of an unclaimed hider in night one is not to find scum but to find town.

gimpy made it sound like anyone could be bought in this game. what scares me more is the fact that the GF, or doc could be bribed. Or the cop could have to state things that weren't true. Thats pretty scary to think about, it means even the protown players could have their own agenda and screw the town to get what they want...

The way I understood it, it's a matter of money being or not being good enough. I doubt that a Vig would agree to wack a confirmed Cop or a Doc, no matter how big a bribe the cocksuckers offered him. Money is an instrument not the goal of the game (although it could be the goal for some roles like Bank Directors or Gamblers

I hope the vig doesn't kill on demand. And I hope the doc handles his offers with care too.
The way I understood it, you can offer them money, but you can't actually outbid other people. I.e. you can offer the doc 5G and he can take it or leave it, but you can't offer him 6G. And I think you can only pay the cop to have Person X investigated, but not to falsify his results.
But that's just my interpretation...

How come no one wanted to play cards with me?I was really looking forward to winning some gold and bribe the Vig with it.
Don't allow that possibility bother you, browng.
Damn, I totally forgot to gamble. Next night Mandy, we have a poker date
Not a too bad night but the Clive lynch striked me as pretty silly, even though he kinda brought it upon himself. I think I had something on Crab, will have to reread

What he said. Though personnellement, moi, I would have said 'struck'
There seems to be this weird tendency in many games to lynch weak townies rather than people you're not sure about, just to avoid accidentally lynching someone important. Or, similarly, if a cop says someone is town, that person gets killed just to check the claim.

You dare nagging this tired brain with details? En garde! *throws glove in Koesie's face and gets out his rapiere* Else, what he said.
This tendency is pretty bad as in the long run it screws town more than trying to find better leads heh.

Aww but you can't go Kalish, we didn't get around to lynch you yet!
Oh I'm sorry, I thought I was en bonne compagnie, it's true that guns are more effective against ruffians; but who says one can't carry both? *takes out shotgun from his back and points at Koesie* English speaking time over, yes?
Koesen wrote:Remember that your are in l'Ouest Sauvage, Monsieur, where gentlemen who survive carry guns instead of rapiers. There is a reason why they speak English in Louisiana instead of French everywhere else, you know.
