Besides, the way to prove you are not lying it to use it rather than use an inconclusive game scene as a proof of towniness. It has the added effect of lynching someone else and analysing vote patterns for better scumhunting, since you can't analyse vote patterns when someone declares a guilty (everyone can vote because they have a "get out of jail free" card). Just stop the "I don't want to 'waste' my vig kill" and prove you're for real by doing it.

I don't see a good reason to lynch me now instead of waiting to see how N2 unfolds. We can verify who's lying after it.

The difference being that you can use your power as many times as you want. I only can kill 1 person, so we might have a better target later on in the game. Since I had a productive investigation, you look like the best lead for today.

Rodion, don't try to hide the facts with febreeze. You've obviously decided to go after Safari, don't hide behind "Oh I just want him to prove his ability". You've tried to defame him and you would have no reason for wanting him to use his one vig kill to take you out if you believed his claim. You've put all your guns and aimed them at Safari. Don't deny that.

I think this can be my last defensive post for now as I don't think there will be anything left uncovered. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable, I'm only asking for Safari to prove his JOAT power by vigging me tonight.

Guys, you can wait to see if Safari is truthful by lynching someone else (other than Saf and me) and checking if I die N2

OR

you can lynch me without proof because you don't want a claimed 1-shot vig power to be "wasted" when it "might" have a better target later on in the game (and this is assuming that we don't have an actual vig to take care of that target that might or might not appear = not to mention the better target can also be a misfire and 1 more dead town PR).

If you want to go into N2 without proof of Safari's role + lack of voting patterns to help guide D3 just because you prefer to keep a claimed 1-shot vig skill available, then I'll wash my hands, but try to weigh in pros and cons before you drop a 3-liner saying you'll vote Rodion because of a claimed JOAT guilty.

Oddly enough you've just proven my point about you going after Safari. The vig part also assumes that the vig doesn't get NKed or lynched. The truth of the matter is that yes it would be better for safari to wait to use his ability as vigging is a more useful late game ability.

Frankly, I'm more suspicious of Rodion than safariguy5. Any justification besides gut feeling gets WIFOM-y. Vote Rodion

If Safari is wrong we can always just ignore him from now on or get him the next day. I'd much rather go with a cop claim + a guilty investigation than gut feelings this early in the game.

Omegle partners were randomly made. So I don't think we can really conclude anything by that, except that there may be some dispute over who it is who didn't get a partner. But I'm not sure if that is absolutely a scumtell or maybe crossed wires in PM's. We can revisit this thing with slow tomorrow as well as the icedagger thing.

I really don't see either of their cases as strong as the Rodion is.

I just got finished reading everything. I'm at work right now and have been reading when I get a chance. Takes a long time with all of these quick posters on tonight.

Agreed on this. I'm not sure why DoomYoshi was wondering who the partner was. I was looking forward to using the mason ability too, but alas, it did not come to pass.

Also, in an unrelated note, DoomYoshi's PR is my favorite.

yeah, Rod was pretty desperate about surviving. Even asked if we could let hiim live to target the PGO tonight. But the thing is, if we let him do that, then we could not tell for certain whether he would actually target the PGO or not. And if he's mafia, he could help coordinate an attack to get saf killed. I hope thihs doesn't count as night right now.
