no i am still here i just got back from mexico!!! oh my gosh i drank so much!! i went to an all inclusive. first time every went to a place like that it was weird to not pay for anything. but hey it was amazing!!!!

Wrong book series. I was going off the bunyips in Temeraire. Land dwelling sub-species of dragons that burrow tunnels and create water sources in order to ambush prey. Large enough to take a human with ease, but not large enough to go head to head with a heavy-weight Celestial dragon.
