“Mr. Mayor, if its all right with you we are going to hang this cocksucker,” declared town sheriff Seth Bullock, not that he cared what the mayor said. People grew increasingly concerned about Reverend Smith. Each day seemed to take him deeper into his dementia. Yesterday he was seen preaching a sermon to an ox in the main thoroughfare, and the day before he was playing piano for some of the town whores. Doc Cochran diagnosed him with a brain tumor but people just wouldn’t listen. Folks thought maybe it’s an act; maybe he’s secretly gathering info for the Hearst mining concerns in town. Either way the town decided the best thing to do was hang him and send him to his God. Reverend Smith (Priest) was hung until he was dead, dead, dead.

This begins Night 1. To begin the night I’ll explain the Gold you all have. Below is a list of goods and services you may purchase. Some are intentionally left vague others are rather specific. If there are questions I will either answer them or say ‘no answer’.

Shot of whiskey - 1G: 15% chance of overhearing a conversation. Not cumulative.
Trick - 5G: A nighttime visit
Pickaxe – 6G: 40% chance of finding gold each night
Map – 15G: 32% chance of finding gold each night (can be used in conjunction w/ pick or pan)
Gold Pan – 3G: 20% chance of finding gold each night
New Hat – 25G: 1-shot ability
Card Game – 1G (each game): Chance to play against others who enter (random winner). May play as many games as you wish as long as there are other players, IE wager 3 (3 games) and you will play against others who enter 3 games. All unplayed Gold will be returned.
Message by wire – 20G: Send a message by telegraph (will be done through me and can’t contain user names only character). Be aware that the telegraph operator will read them too but will not reveal anything.
Charitable Donation - ?G: Blessing conferred upon you.
Side of Bacon & coffee – 1G: Breakfast of champions
Package Delivery - ?G: What’s in the package, up to you. Price will be decided by me when I know what is being sent.

Services can be bought/bribed as well. You can offer the Doc say 5G to protect you for the night and it will be up to the Doc to accept, or offer the Cop 10G to investigate someone. Be creative, spend how you wish. Be warned though if it feels like cheating I won’t allow it and I have final say.

Some of you have wages (received in the morning), some of you earn Gold through services rendered or items purchased. Wages and prices can fluctuate depending on the market and game progression.

ALSO i have been asked by some about the bribes. That is up to each of you to throw out bribes. I'll allow night talking about bribes (and only bribes) for this night since this is all new. For the next day/night I will designate a bribe-time (lets call it dusk) during which you can bribe people to do what you want. some of the other questions I have gotten are character specific and i will answer them late tonight when i'm not at work (and have my spreadsheet). I will also be checking the thread for other questions if there are general ones you'd like to ask that you don't need annonymity for.

I'm not goign to be here for the next 2 or 3 days, for I'll be out playing in an All-East band.

Calamity Jane Cannary was keeping an eye out for Blazanov last night. She thought for sure someone would try and take him out and when they did she would be there gun in hand. She should have been keeping an eye out for herself instead. Or on the little blond girl that was hiding behind her.

lalaland - Calamity Jane (elite bodyguard/back-up doc) was stabbed through the left kidney.
LSU - Sophia Metz (hider) had her throat cut in a crimson smile.

Well, on the plus side it looks as though there was only one kill last night. On the down side it looks like someone was stupid enough to hide with a player that claimed a semi powerful protown role. Seriously people, even if your role in the game is hider....IT'S STILL PROTOWN! Why in the world would you hide with a person who painted a target on themselves day 1?

Also, I'm really hoping mafia got lucky last night with lalaland because if our town vig made that hit by accident then you're an idiot. Whoever our real doc is please don't claim or hint about who you are because we need you.

Now, who wants to reveal what they learned last night about day 1 suspects? Don't claim or say how you know, but any evidence could help. God knows gimpy gave us all a couple options we could buy to find stuff out. Anybody learn anything?
