@ Neb: Apart from saying "it's not me" I don't really have anything else to say. I could character claim if you have anything more than gut: that would likely clear me (assuming you believed my claim).

I'm not a huge proponent of trying to hunt for the horse player (if there is one). How would we go about that exactly? Will the horse player kindly raise his or her hand? Short of a flavor cop getting very lucky on these freaking short nights, that seems like a dead end.
If whatsausage is indeed scum, we should lynch him and take his horse. Then we get the good fortune to test Betiko's ability and take care of scum. Alternatively, just a lynch of Betiko would work.
In fact,
Vote Betiko.
There are very few scenarios I can see that include a town aligned horse player. Therefore for hunting for scum/SK you are implicitly hunting for the HF. Add in the fact we have more information about HF than we do scum (how they kill and who is in their kill list - granted we dont know how their kill list is made but its still more than zero information). Hunting horse guy may be a distraction, but its a distraction that is (imo because I believe them to be scum/3rd party) advancing towns win condition.
Strong FoS Jmac. Number one scum read.
kgb007 wrote:@loot I'd be curious to compare post counts as I believe I've been more active than you...
Not what I meant - I wasn't saying your were being inactive. All you have to do is be
less active than sausage at the end of day and you could potentially die instead of him via the horse game. If we aren't lynching him either then we lose what looks like a confirmed scum kill.
However recent posts about clock person helping us out makes me slightly more comfortable using our lynch on someone other than sausage.
This is, obviously, all dependent on sausages claim/response, but right now I am taking SW's "package" to be a reliable source (if nothing changes I will vote sausage closer to deadline).

This game already has mafia, cult and at least 1 3rd-party. Additionally, our JOAT didn't have a 1-shot cop. A phony package would feel negatively unbalanced for town, so I'm liking the odds of the package being legit.
Vote Saausage.

I will be traveling for the next week. Well,I started yesterday...so my posts may not contain a lot of quoting for cases, but I should be active. Unless Canada doesn't like my phone. Seems like sausage may suicide himself if he doesn't post soon.
Kgb and jmac would be my higher sum reads right now. Jmac for voting betiko right out of the gates. Kgb for his posts about being cleared of being HF as well as seeming to push to be cleared as town.

This was addressed in my previous post. In the unlikely event the clock is town aligned, I did not want to take sausage's horse and end the day prematurely, however unlikely that would be given the clock's powers.

I'd hardly describe asking if I was still tops on your HF list and responding to your question of "why would it change?" response as being worried but ok.

Now that I have more than 30 seconds to read and post let's get rid of the horse very likely to be scummy sausage with a lynch.

Still no claim from Sausage (or post in the past 4 days) even though he, or a sitter, has been online. I wouldn't give him too much longer before we start looking elsewhere for a vote. The day is supposed to end Friday night but I'll aim to get my final vote up no later than midday Wednesday... just in case.

BIG FOS Puppy This is CLEAR scum behavior from sausage, and you are totally protecting him here, and I have no logical idea as for why. If someone gets called out like this and then doesn't post it is a total scum move that just screams a lack of a solid fake claim.

I'm not protecting Sausage... I've already stated we should use the HF to kill him and not waste our lynch to re-kill a dead man. The primary reason to vote Sausage atm is to get him to claim. The purpose of my post was to 1) point out that Sausage has been logged on CC and 2) to say that we shouldn't get caught with our thumbs up our butts and lose the lynch waiting for a claim that may or may not be coming.

Is the 24-hour rule still in effect? I'm guessing Sausage has already held the (lack of) horse for enough time that his death is granted (unless PCM extends the same courtesy he granted to Nark). PCM, could you please confirm the situation?
With that problem potentially solving itself, we can safely move on and focus on the lynch without having to worry about clocks and horses for the remainder of the day.

Quick post: Spiesr is active (as active as he ever gets

) and no Rodion; PCM changed the horse games rules. You just have to pass it when you post.

I read that differently, so I guess some apologies are due, although tbh I would like a mod post before really jumping into other cases

Vote CountWhatsausage - 7 (SW, Betiko, MP, Edoc, IB, Rodion, Sheep)
Betiko - 1 (Jmac)
KGB - (Doom)
Whatsausage is currently without a horse.
With 17 alive it takes 9 to lynch. Deadline is May 30 at 11:59 PM

My guess is that sausage is going to take the lynch, and try to pass the horse and hammer himself at the same time. So let's get some good discussion going, without actually lynching sausage. Once we are happy, we can give the okay for the Clock to end the day. He should be able to time it with sausage not having a horse. We have five days until the normal end of day.

Never considered that, but it's very possible if whatsausage has conceded being lynched. Since he is at L-2 now, no-one else should vote him. (And if someone does vote him because they didn't read this, or they are scum or something, I or anyone else not voting yet should drop the hammer before he has a chance)

I really want to set up a quick hammer simply to get this game moving a bit, but I presume it's been so slow since all the Americans are on holiday?

Yes holidays always slow games down.
A lynch of sausage flipping mafia would would validate "package man", which would be very helpful in Towns favor.
I would be happy hammering him while he is minus a horse. Having him eat it would save the accidental lynch of pro Town. There has been no movement towards anything else. The only question I would have, is sausage allowed to grab a horse at the moment he is lynched, which seems a strong possibility? Is that now feasible? The rules have changed this round but with him lying low the horse is at a standstill as well.

Someone pointed out to me that writing about hanging a black guy is racist. I don't preplan my scenes, so that didn't even occur to me. I've taken the scene down. Thank you for understanding and I hope no one was offended/saw it at all.

It's actually racist to think that hanging a black guy is racist while hanging a white or asian or whatever isn't. Seriously who comes up with such crap..
