Well, whilst I'd always harboured aspirations of being the first clan to topple THOTA (and by rights we should/could have been) I have to salute KORT on a job well done.

To the winners of the Con Cup =D>

Now...to the Conqueror's Cup.

You're such a gentleman aren't you... Why congratulate at all if you don't mean it?

Congrats to KORT for a great performance! Now go on celebrating so you forget to put up a good show in the upcoming CL semi finals

THOTA,

you have been admirable opponents for the most part. These games were really hard and I had a lot of fun (and stress, mostly stress) playing my games, watching the non-foggy ones I was not part of and spamming my clanmates on a daily basis with questions about how good or bad the foggy ones I was not part of were. I'm specially glad we beat you before anyone else because I foresee a new, improved and more determined THOTA arising for everyone else's despair.

Good luck on your future endeavours (except if/when we face you again ;) )!

On the contrary. Beating THOTA is a very good achievement, hence my honest statement

I have to salute KORT on a job well done

Who are you to determine my state of sincerity? You're simply misinterpreting my dismay at not being the clan to have achieved it. OK?

I think Eyestone was referring to the "con" (trick) reference.

Indeed it was a great match. I want to tip my hat off to all of THOTA for one hell of a fight. Between all the banter and or thread stuff, this war was a real barn burner. THOTA has nothing be ashamed of and should hold their head's high as they were tough as nails and did not give an inch. To all the great folks in THOTA, good luck in the future and hope to see you again on the battle field. To all the cows, well done and MOOOO!

P.S. Eyestone... We are not gonna overlook AOC, or else you will end up knocking us off.

I'm not talking about you applauding KORT for beating THOTA. As Rodion already pointed out there was more text in the quoted post. It's just annoying to keep reading all the "fun" word-twists you (as in plural) keep coming up with about the "you-know-what-incident". You said a long time ago that you were over it, but you clearly aren't and never seem to will be.

Well, actually you were talking about me applauding KORT (hence your comment "Why congratulate at all if you don't mean it"). My posts are always sincere. Am I over 'The Incident'? Nope, and never will be (and never said I was). Did I once say I'd bury the hatchet? Yes, but then someone chose to throw it back. That said, I don't choose to use the 'CORT' acronym or keep throwing barbs out there reminding them of a fairly reprehensible decision. Here are my thoughts....as succinctly put in my earlier post:

i) KORT did a great job in beating THOTA. Plaudits for that.
ii) Did I want to be in the clan that first beat THOTA? Yes.
iii) 'Con Cup' is an apt abbreviation for this series and is a moniker used by quite a few.
iv) Are KORT worthy winners? Not in my opinion, but then I have justification to feel this way.
v) Am I looking forward to the Conqueror's Cup? Yes.

Hope this explains the context of my previous post a little better.

Again, congratulations to KORT on beating THOTA.

Congratulations to KORT for winning the first CCup, and being the first to beat THOTA!
It was a great finals to watch, and I hope for a repeat performance with the next cup.

Congratulations KORT. A great victory and a fun war to watch, what with it being so close.

Hopefully, my clan will get to say they are the first clan to defeat KORT after KORT became the first clan to defeat THOTA. :)

I think actual score is currently 25-29 to kort, with 2 more unrecoverable wins for them?
