I had an eggplant parmesean at the local 5-Star hotel, when I was there for a conference. If done right, it is delicious. If not, it's chewy and gross.

From the curlette's account, it would seem the camp version tends toward the latter.

Good to see. Did you sugar up the wee Quirk, or was he at home for this one?

Mrs. Quirk and Jr. stayed home. He's not quite ready for Six Flags. I took my 18 year old stepson. We had a great time. It was his first time on a roller coaster. He can't wait to go back.

My six year old said "That looks likes a scary roller coaster." I told him it looked fun and probably not as bad as Space Mountain. The only ride he was allowed on that he did not like at Disney Land when we went. Being a tall kid paid off on that trip.

The first drop takes your breath away. There aren't any loops but it was still our favorite. We rode it 5 times.

Did you see Mr. Six?

We didn't see any reference to him in the park. Perhaps he's been retired or maybe we just missed him.

I googled him. I guess they stopped using him in 2006. Getting good mileage off that campaign.

I've never been to a big theme or amusement park in my life. I've went to a mid-sized one a few times, one that had maybe 4 roller coasters, a spaceshot, some water rides, and number of other little rides.

You want to meet up next time my family goes to a Disney property? I've only went once so far.

The curlettte has been dispatched to camp now. Last night she made us and some friends dinner as a farewell. Have fun, curlette.

This is a true color view of Saturn’s north polar region, taken by Cassini’s Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on June 26, 2013. You can see Saturn’s mysterious hexagon in the center.
