I've been trying to put the word out, so hopefully some people will hop on board and finish the season...

I think people are daunted by the 82 games, so maybe you could note in the topic that only ~20 games are left on the schedule???

I think you need to update the first post (where you have all the teams and owners and settings). At least make it say "VACANT" or "NEED NEW PLAYER" for the ones that need reserves.

It would be interesting to show an ownership history (and number of games each owner played). EDIT: If you are going to edit this area - don't forget to change my home map (should be AoM).

You could also look in the Abandoned thread for the 2 NHL tourneys there (try to get those players). There was also an NHL tournament some time ago.

Re: Game Verification

Post by Aerial Attack »

To verify that you are playing all the games you should be playing do the following:

Go to Game Finder
Check the box [Waiting for Players]
Select NHL League in the drop down box at the bottom
Type your team name (i.e. Tampa) in the partial match box
Click Search

This will give you a list of all the games waiting for you to join (or waiting for someone else to join).

I'm bumping this because there are new games out for everyone

PS. Games involving Los Angeles (la) and New Jersey (nj) have different password schemes than every other game.

The St. Louis Blues will be a bit late in joining the newest set of games. I will join all games this Sunday. FYI for those who might be waiting.

thanks for the suggestions, I will probably do something like that in the next day or so, but we do have someone who has taken over the flyers. I also had the stats page done up with all of the philly games being played, but now that they are actually going to be played by a person, I am going to need to redo the stats page again, so that will be up in a couple of days time as well.

The Philadelphia Flyers are under new management.

I'm searching for the light switch down here in the cellar...

I hear ya, I took over the Senators after about 40 games and was looking for that same light switch. I think I've done well; however, the hole was already deep.

Spidey, I hate to see you stuck, so if you still need reserves and would let me back, I'll fill in if needed.

Gave up on points and just playing for fun now :)

ok everyone, the stats have been updated and we have some people who have clinched playoff spots. There are some minor errors on the stats page which I am working on fixing. I will have the last of the games up next weekend and once those are all done we are into playoff mode.
