Re: What video/computer game are you currently playing?
I've been playing Braid, and I like it quite a bit. A friend of recommended it, and I am glad she did! Be wary of looking at any comments about the game though, my friend said there are probably spoilers around. So just keep your head down.

Braid can be awesome at times...but it can be tedious at times...I sometimes find myself finding solutions by trial and error just as often as figuring things out...
I'm playing Red Dead Redemption on my PS3 right now...and I pop onto my computer and play some Limbo or Serious Sam or Braid or Tropico or ES4: Oblivion or a number of other games every once in a while....but I want to get through the PS3 game so I can get back to playing something on my preferred platform.

Red Dead is probably my favorite game of all time.
I'm still playing Europa Universalis IV. I have two games going: one as Castille (just discovered new world) and one as Brandenburg. Fun, fun, stuff... love the differences between III and IV.

Getting the hang of the new snapshots for Minecraft. Colored glass, new flowers, new biomes, new terrians, and new fishing mechanics.
But the ocean/river biomes, underwater, need more to them. Right now its sand, dirt, and on occassion, clay with squids popping up every so often. Just so empty. Maybe fish mobs, or coral, or just something to add to it would be great.
But the new ice blocks won't melt, but you can only get them with silk touch.

Emergency 4/911 First Responders is a good strategy game I'm playing right now. Other than that, ArmA 2, Civ 5
Highest Rank: Lieutenant | Highest Score: 1641

I haven't played too much in Europe yet. I like mucking around in the Middle East and Asia so far. I'll work my west eventually.

I've heard the recently released "The Stanley Parable" game is an interesting play through, anyone purchase it and play it? I just finished up Braid, so looking for another little game to dink around with.

Don't know what you mean by "nice little game" but have you tried World of Goo? It's a few years old but it's quite fun.

I'm probably going to work my way east. I tried Athens and Byzantium, but it's extremely difficult. I may try Egypt soon.

It's a good "dink around" game...

Pokemon Yellow?
I'd go with either of the Red/Blue/Yellow(gold?) (1st gen)
I spent days playing that without fail

How is no one playing GTA V? And I don't mean that shitty multiplayer mode... I mean just the kick ass, basic storyline...

Got better things to do than that... Also I would replay Mirrors Edge more than 4x than that.

I spent days playing that without fail. I'll accept up to 3rd gen as well, but pokemon y/x are simply lacking in creativity from what I've seen/heard.
(I mean some of the evolutions are, simply inane.) Also played mystery dungeon which wasn't bad for the new concept.
hey, i've got nostalgia for the old games too, but x/y is the biggest leap forward since gold/silver. and almost all of it is in good ways.

Mirrors Edge? Cinematically, it ruled, but after one time through, blah... Had a great soundtrack too, as I recall... been a long time since i played it.

it's a good game, but very short, and it doesn't have much replay value.

It's the kind of game I like to dink around with...I'll play it when I need a short break...solve one puzzle and close it and get back to work.
I'm finding Red Dead Redemption to be so-so. I think I don't get the same connection to the characters in console games...it might be the bigger room that hurts the immersion...being more aware of reality...not sure...some day I'll bring the PS3 up to my computer desk and play it through my monitor and see how it is...

I haven't touched the franchise since Crystal, so yeah.

Re: What video/computer game are you currently playing?
Amazon had a deal on the Walking Dead (the Tell Tale Episodic Game) and the DLC for like 7 bucks, so I picked it up. More of an interactive sort of choose your own adventure story than a real game, but probably worth the 7 bucks.
