Believe it or not but a lot of that falls into the hands of the players to do. I can't personally provide activity is everyone in the game decides to do nothing or what not. All I do is make a setup and see and how roll with it, as well as write crappy scene and pretend like I make vote counts. Sure, the mod will have some effect to make things interesting, but the mod can't do it all by themselves.

I actually agree fir. A lot of the games poor quality is due to the players not embracing their roles.

Nag + TFO mafia faction for me. TFO killed an orange night 1, and is in no way a doctor (maybe busdriver to balance the small faction out and explain the second kill). This explains why you couldn't be recruited as well.
