As a child I spent my summers with my grandparents on Lake Blackshear in south Georgia. It's still common for me to dream about being back there. Recently we took Quirk Jr down to meet my uncle and swim in the lake. Here's a pic of my grandfather by the lake. We caught some pretty big fish back in the day (mid-seventies to early eighties).

On another note: While I was making that last post a family of raccoons feasted on the cat food on the front porch. I heard them and opened the front door to a comical scene. Various sized raccoons scrambling and stumbling off the porch. I have to admit the little ones are pretty cute. I prefer the deer, though. They tend to stay off the porch but they can scare the hell out of me when I'm taking out the trash at night.

I think I've went fishing no more than maybe 15 times in my life. Maybe only 10. I always felt bad for skewering the worm and having the fish bite down on a hook.

This was a week of CC anniversaries. Andy's fifth year as an employee, three years since my join date and two years since my wife joined.
I won 148 points in one game and became a sergeant for the first time.

Remember the summer of 2009 when my stepson stayed with us? They both created accounts and he posted in here at least once. She played one game and won.
