the graphics on this map are first rate, lots good care an attention to detail.. I would never play it though as I don't have any idea what is going on. I suppose I could take more than 30 seconds to understand it, but for some reason, i can't be bothered.

i like the way the map is looking. it's nice to see a roman empire map in the forge at last.

were the cohors praetoria really arranged roma-iii-ii-i-italia? i'd like praetorian i to be able to attack praetorian iii and praetorian ii to be able to attack roma, so that this part of the map does not play like rail europe. at the moment, the road from italia to break the roma bonus is too long.

the work that u've done on the legend has made the explanations clear and the text easily readable.

From mine researches,i find that 7 praetorian cohort whas respond for Guard Rome,they work in circle,in every moment 3 preatorian cohorts been in rome and 4 whas out rome.

three cohorts is fine, but i think they do not need to be in a line because u're not making a railway that has five stations. i'd like to see more connections between the roma defence territories. in a 2-player game, no-one will waste his time try to attack roma because 12 neutrals need to be killed for a bonus of only +2. with the two extra connections that i mentioned above, there is the halfway incentive of something that is easier to reach: 6 neutrals killed for a +1 bonus.

in the town legend, there is a full stop after six of the city abbreviations, but not for alexandria. actually, i believe it looks neater if there are no full stops after the abbreviations.

well good thing with these map,that you can win without poses a rome,and these map must be availabile for 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 player,not only for 2 player.

2. before i put the file up for you, are the Praetorian Guard units a part of the Roma continent, because in the xml you only have one territory in the Roma continent.

yes. that is good. would you consider using that. It would go more with your map overall style.
but i will understand if you don't want to use it.

in most 2-player games, roma will be ignored because it's very difficult to take and the bonus is too small. in multi-player games, perhaps the gameplay does not have this problem because all bonuses require neutrals to be killed and ur oppponents will not always be attacking u.

well good thing with these map,that you can win without poses a rome,and these map must be availabile for 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8 player,not only for 2 player.

fair enough, qwert. for two players, the map does work without roma, which is not part of any other bonuses.

Mine appology to Ian,after closer chech is right,they not have ".".I will imediatly add these.
