That is crazy considering Nebraska is still awaiting their opponent from the first round in the Big 10
On a side not flex, i have Vanderbilt winning it all in my real bracket.
Final 4 are:
Kentucky
Florida
Vanderbilt
North Carolina
What does your real bracket look like?

Syracuse is going all the way. I know about melo, but c'mon. 30-2 (17-1 Big East). It translates. Somebody said to me the Big East looks weaker this year. BS. I'd take a weak Big East over a strong anyone else anyway. The orange men will win.

I went with...
Syracuse
North Carolina
Missouri
Wichita State
with North Carolina beating Wichita State in the finals.
Kentucky is the first #1 seed I have going out (in the 2nd round to UConn), so if that fails my bracket is in trouble.
Looking for major early-round upsets by #13 Ohio and #12 Harvard...I was tempted to take Long Beach State, too, but in the end I didn't.

I agree with callme...I'm not a Big East fan (ACC for me)...but it's a good league at the top and Syracuse has loads of talent despite Malo flunking out.
That East Region caused me the biggest headaches though...sent my head spinning trying to pick a winner out of there. At one point I had Gonzaga making the Final Four...then thought better of it, realized I was making too much of the whole Malo thing and went with the Orange.

very ballsy wichita state pick. I have them -5.5 today
However i agree with your UConn pick and i like it. Kentucky is good, but they are too young, freshman and sophmores only! That is just asking to be taken out of the tournament early. So i tried looking for someone that could knock them out. I thought UConn had a chance but i am not sure that they can get by Iowa State (who are streaky). I know that Indiana can not be Kentucky this time around... they lost to my team (Nebraska) and that brain screws you when you lose to a team that horrible. Then i thought maybe duke, but they could lose early as well. So i had to let Kentucky make my final 4. The South is a crappy division imo.
The hardest for me was the East. Florida State, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Ohio State and even Wisconsin could all go to the final 4 in my opinion. My two "sleeper" picks were going to be florida state and vanderbilt no matter where they were but they put them both in the save division!
Anyway, i am sending you an invite for a just for fun bracket contest on espn to the email address you listed on here earlier. You have to have an espn account though. Accept if you want, decline or delete if you dont lol.

I was gonna quote one of you, but I have the same comment for you all: Where's the love for the Big 10? They've got 5 #1-4 seeds and you guys don't have any of them even going to the Final 4? I got Ohio State and Mich State making it to the Final 4 and Ohio State going to the final against Kentucky. I think you guys are making a mistake discounting the Big 10 like that. I'd say I'm biased cuz I'm at a Big 10 school, but if I was really biased I'd be putting my team, Indiana, over Kentucky, but I don't see that happening again. At least I'm not gonna put my money on it. All that said, I really hope that the actual tournament is more exciting than my bracket cuz my bracket is BORING. But I just don't see that many upsets happening this year.

In CC news, Toledo responded strong to its loss at Ohio finishing its last two games against Kent State and at Bowling Green with victories (84-64 and 86-61, respectively). The win against Kent State clinched the #2 seed in the MAC tournament and puts Toledo 2 wins away from a MAC Tournament Title.
After the Bowling Green game, both coaches alluded to the questionable officiating that gave Toledo an early advantage that they never relinquished. "Bowling Green is a great team and we really hope to see them again in the championship," coach Agentcom said, "It's just too bad that this game wasn't a little bit more ... competitive. And I don't mean that in any way to knock the play of Bowling Green. Take from that what you will."
Bowling Green coach thekidstrumpet added, "I'd love to talk about what happened in this game, but I'd be hit with a fine by the NCAA. And we don't need that right now. We need to concentrate on our next game."

hard to go against Tom Izzo come tourney time...I had the Spartans in my Final Four for a long time, but when I was done I had three #1s making it, and I just couldn't do it, so moved Missouri past them. Plus, I like how the Tigers play.
I had a lot of first-round Big-10 wins, but not much past that. And Wisconsin = ugly play. Here's hoping the Badgers get taken out quick.

I have Murray State vs. Harvard in the final. I had Ohio State and Duke but I just couldn't root for that so I changed it

the tourney has change a lot over the last 10-15 years...now there are so many more teams in the field that can make a Final Four run -- Murray State being one that could pull it off...first time I've seen them this year, but they were as good as advertised in the second half this morning.

I hear ya agentcom, i am a new Big10 fan (Nebraska) and i think both ohio state and mich state are both great teams..however one team i was considering to make the final 4 is/was Wisconsin

So in my defense i almost picked both ohio state and wisconsin...though wisconsin before ohio state.

Sorry flex.
At least my final 4 remains alive, so far. Just need MI State to win tonight. Can't say the same for about half of the pool that I'm in.

Actually, I was unimpressed with them when I saw them for the first time in their tourney game. They had some decent quickness and decent shooting. But their interior game was one slightly undersized big man. That's not a recipe for success. But we'll see if they can buck the trend. They'll have to play tenacious d and shoot really well from the arc.

Congrats to the #3-ranked Runnin' Rebels, as coach gameplayer is the first to punch his ticket to the Big Dance after leading UNLV to a 26-7 record.
