Texas goes on the road to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes in their final Big 12 match up in boulder. Texas used steady shooting to hold off the Buffs. Final score was Texas 80 - Colorado 69 Texas wins in 10, 10, and loses in 10
Texas then returned home and kept the momentum as they defeated the K-State Wildcats by a final of 78-69. Texas used some good defense to thwart the 'Cats offensive attacks to hopefully start some momentum as one regular season game is left till the final Big XII tourney starts. Texas wins in 6, 10 and loses in 5

6th man gets a bonus for winning their map (3, 2 or 1 points)
So flex, since I have a 6th man bonus do I have to declare before the tourney which bench player and it is that one through out or do I get to pick before each match up as I advance to the finals

Players will get 24 hours prior to each March Madness game to select what spots they want to use for their power-ups.

Yale defeats Columbia on the road as the refs decided to favor the bulldogs in the fourth quarter.. Some bad calls were made and that was enough for Yale to take a slight lead that they refused to give up.. The bulldogs were well coached and I wish them the best of luck in the upcoming tournament

I also believe that Columbia's Record needs to be amended. Prior to the recent loss to Yale.. Columbia's record should have been 23-5.. instead of the 6 loses it reflected.. it should now be updated to 24-6.. With 2 open games remaining.. the total reflects 32 games instead of 31 since 2 games were made for "game 8" in the JV Classic. Thanks

Finished the season beating two incredible opponents, #2 & #3 in the country, on the ROAD. Go Bulldogs! (I'm sure I'm peaking too early, but it was nice to bring home a tough Ivy League crown...)

The Columbia Lions avenge their road loss to Brown by defeating them soundly at home. With a sold out Levien Gym and the support of their fans, the Lions were just too much for Brown to handle.
Game 8648977 - Columbia wins in RD 6 31-17
Game 8648976 - Columbia wins in RD 9 29-19
Game 8648974 - Columbia Loss in RD 10 20-29
2/3 Wins = +2
Final Score = 82-65

updating scores took longer than expected last night...I should be able to get through the batch today and post updated standings (not final) late tonight...along with the look at the conference tourneys.

Standings are updated...along with a new RPI list with Iowa State still on top...Also posted in the second post on the thread are links to the Conference tourney brackets...although most spots haven't been confirmed yet...I'm expecting to get most of those tourneys going over the weekend.

no idea if this has been asked already, so apologies if it has...
what's the format for conference tourneys? will we be using the maps as outlined for March madness, or will we be using a 3-game series on the home map of the higher seed?

Same as the regular season with the three-map format...higher seed will get their home settings.

Conference tourneys will go from link to an image file once all teams have been slotted into their proper spots in the bracket...so far that's the Pac-10 and Mountain West...I still have a handful of leagues to look at Monday morning. Also, conference tourney games have started to go out, and once your matchup is set you will be getting those maps.
During the tournament phase of this tourney players will have 48 hours to join their maps or they will be dropped and counted as forfeits...of course advance notice over rides that rule if you're going to be away for the weekend or something. If you are away for more than 5 days you'll need to find an account sitter.
good luck all...14 auto spots up for grabs this week...that leaves 54 at-large bids for the selection committee to choose.

Columbia ends its season on a win defeating Harvard at home.
8581385 - Columbia wins in RD 9 29-19
8581386 - Columbia loss in RD 15+ 24-25
8581387 - Columbia wins in RD 9 29-19
2/3 games = +2
Final Score = 84-63
Columbia ends the season with 25-7 record... a 9 game win streak during the season, an 8-2 record vs top 40 teams, 1 Non-Conference Tournament win, and hopes to be rewarded with a favorable position in this year's dance

Not sure what the Final score will be but Texas will beat Baylor - have won 1 already, lead 50 regions to 2 in the second, the third is toss up but I won quickly in the first two so the chance of overtime is nil.
Thought this would help get the Big 12 tournament lined up flex

Yes, thanks...I'm checking all those late regular-season results and partial results each night and updating brackets accordingly...so far the Pac-10, A10 and Mountain West brackets are set...other leagues are partial or not ready yet.

#27 Northern Iowa defeats Bradley
Scores by Half
N. Iowa 49 33 82
Bradley 23 39 62
The top two teams in the Missouri Valley battled it out recently, with a strong showing from both teams. The heavy favorites being N. Iowa, were looking for revenge; after being swept earlier in the season at home. Bradley, however has been on a nice run towards the end of the regular season, and are looking to get some early confidence, going into the conference tournament.
