i appreciate you putting the flag of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in this map. However, I find the government emblem not fitting at all for this map. Sure, the Communist Government has established their regime ovr China, but it was never elected by popular vote of the people, so it cannot truly represent China and Chinese people; all it symbolizes is a one party government. I suggest either taking out the emblem or putting the emblem of the Republic of China too, because you have included Taiwan in the Greater China map, and it is certainly not under communist rule, and it is only fair to the people of Taiwan tha their democratically elected government is represented in the right way too. "Greater China" is not the People's Republic of China, but a concept of the Zhong Guo, the Central Nation. The Republic of China is part of this notion, and should be rightfully represented too.

or another idea is, make Taiwan a special one territory bonus due to politcal reasons. Put the emblem beside it to symbolize another government

But in the end, it is your signature, and you can do it the way you like. (Though I might make it a little smaller, so it doesn't look so odd compared to the style and theme of the map.)

Sorry I don't mean to be difficult or anything, in fact I'm a teenager too.

All I meant to suggest was to either add the Emblem of Taiwan, as I have linked below, or to have no emblems at all. Since both flags are on the map, it makes more sense to have both emblems on the map.

put in a picture of the coat of arms from taiwan
moved the china coats of arms
i am working on the small map and done with the xml (changing names) i will post the xml when i am ready with the small map (those freaking army cricles again

)
also much people which coleman has did xml for has putted his sig in their maps, i am not gonna do that because:
1) he did only the cordinates
2) i did the other parts and all the editing of the cordinates
BUT
when my map is finishd i will put his name in the title of the thread as a thanks for cordinates
(its not that he was to lazy to do those things i did, i just didn't aks him for it)

hey Wisse. I believe that the "country" tag has been changed to "territory" so right now it is true that you don't actually have any countries. Do a quick find & replace "country" to "territory" and run the check again.

It would be less confusing if the XML checker had also been updated to say that Xianjiang does not have its own TERRITORY entry.

Nice. Looking good Wisse. Thumbs up from me for the army centering and the sig - if your sig had to fit the look of the map we'd have to make new sigs for every map we do.
I've been staring at the graphics looking for errors, and the only thing I can see is that the coastlines looks a bit smudged where the river meets the sea in Hebei and Shandong provinces. If it doesn't look wrong to you then don't give it a second thought. The mountains look funny to me, but I guess other people like them so I'll shut up.
In reading back through the past few weeks of posts, it looks as if the Kashmir territory may be a source of confusion. In the legend it is called "C. Kashmir," in the XML it is called "Chinese Kashmir," and on the map it has no label at all. Have I got that right?

i forgot about this too, i saw it last week but forgot to post about. i looked over the map, but i cant find C. kashmir. so that bombard idea is either scrapped and he didnt change the text in legend, or he forgot to change a terr to C. kashmir.

No, it's still there, it just has no territory title. I think this demonstrates that there is still confusion around this territory.

yeah i will fix those river-sea connections
i made the mountains as they where really then made them in the style of the map

cool... but jako couldn't find the territory on the map... putting the name of the territory on the map will remove any confusion. I see that one can figure out which territory it is from the image in the legend, so if you're strongly opposed to putting the title there then so be it.
