When people applaud a movie 99.9% of the time it is not because they liked the actor or even that they are supporting the director. They applaud because of the movie itself.
And target I'm pretty sure jonesys comment about the sports bar was sarcastic

i knowBUT THAT DOES ANNOY ME TOO! (not sarcastic)
And you can support it a different way! By going out seeing it again, Telling your friends to go see it, spread the word, buy the dvd. all these ways show your support for the movie and go further than applauding at a movie YOU and the REST of the people in the theater PAID FOR

TARGETMAN HISTORY FACT OF THE WEEK!!!!!
today fact is brought to you by THE UNITED STATES OF FUCKEN AMERICA!!! (HAPPY B DAY)
We are going to go way back for this one all the way to the start of this great country JULY 2. Yes i said it we declared our Independence on July second. NOT THE 4th so the story goes on June 7th 1776 Richard Henry lee proposed this to the second continental congress. "Resolved.... that these united colonies are, and of a right ought to be, free and independent states, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all politician connection between them and the state of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved." John Adams seconded the motion and debate started on JUNE 7th of the delagets that where there some did not want to be free quite yet so the moved to suspend the actually vote until JULY 1. During this period Jefferson would write the declaration of independence. so when July 1st came around a prelimany vote showed that 4 colonies still rejected it. so on July 2. they took an official vote and it passed. Here is why the main opponent of the breaking away from the crown was named. dickenson a delegate was vote against it on july 1st and on the second he and the other Pennsylvania delegate where absent leaving Pennsylvania vote 3 for and 2 against. after Pennsylvania agreed to it the other 4 hold out colonies followed suite. On july 4 they approved the draft of the independace and passed it. They did not sign it until much later though.
