is it possible to swap the positions of the name and shadow?
The bottom half of the Novgorod territory is larger than the top half so the name might fit better in the bottom.

Test results:
<?xml version="1.0" ?> - XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
- <map> - Start tag expected, '<' not found
Summary: 0 warnings and 2 errors detected
What these mean please help

First off,
in the code delete the bit where it says
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
it looks like at the start of your document you either haven't written
<map>
or you have written
map>
at the very start, before anything else, put
<map>
and at the end, put
</map>
1 last thing, post the code up, so if you need people to test and fix it it will be done quicker!

Looking good Qwert. Nice job.
Change December 2006 to 2006-07 though cause you have been working on it more in 2007 that 2006! :p I like the Serbian flag next to the name.

i really like it but i was just wondering should the title be more neutral? some picky people (as bedplay says) may feel the title looks like it supports the russians also it does not lok as good as the map now the map has improved so much, i would just make it plain black and let the rest of the map speak for itself visually i really like it.

The title is fine as it is. Very aptly named in fact. Don't change it.
Qwert add 2006-07 then!
I think this map is ready for quenching.

the only 2 things i don't like are the army shadows (make them more white)
and the texture
after that its perfect

Before you quench, on the large map, army coordinates
odessa and
vilnius need altering slightly. (odessa is too high, vilnius is too low)
The army shadows are fine, It's meant to be dark damp and bleak on the eastern front.
Then it is definately ready for quenching (I think?

)

shadows looks good and numbers can see perfect.
Whats wrong with texture
