50.000.000 supporters/fans worldwide.
I am one of them...

Those with cardiac/heart problems are not reccomended to be supporter for cimbom anyways.
O:)

a note i would like to drop down here,
5 games against real madrid galatasaray played so far, won 3 lost 2...
two games of five were in 2013; won 1 lost 1...
three of five belongs to 2000-2001 galatasaray winning 2 losing 1...(2000 real madrid had it all, figo, roberto carlos, not sure maybe even hierro ? i mean whatever neccesary, everyone)
the 2013 madrid leg was a shamefull run from refree, disaster performance...it ended up 3 0 RM won but two penalties had not been given, at least 1 of 2 was a certain faul so penalty. RM one goal they scored should had been given faul, so wasnt a regulat goal and one other was an offside but refree called it goal.
Maybe we still wud lose that game but it should not have been 3 0 for sure. After the game, days later, norwegian football federation announced it reccomending the norwegian refree of the RM-GS game should stop running european/uefa games...This is not what i am saying, this is what norwegian football federation said.

So, we are a crazy team, crazy supporters/environment...we can beat anyone and everyone, we are capable doing it.
When it is galatasaray, the unchanged fact is there is no favorite of the game. Galatasaray games tend to be very epic, yesterday, today and tomorrow. For bet makers, think twiice when you decide to put your money against galatasaray
Galatasaray is one of the most remarkable/fantastic UNDERDOGs of the history in world/european soccer in last 20-30 years.

I still think that the RM of this year is stronger than last year. It s good to see you with such high hopes, within a couple of month you will have to wear a sig i ll give you :)
Cimbom is a galatasaray nickname?

Cimbom is a galatasaray nickname?

remember,
for me to dress the sig marseille will have to finish her group #3 or better AND cimbom to fail qualifying to next round O:)

in short,

you win your bet : 1
you lose your bet : 0
i win my bet : 1
i lose my bet : 0
your bet is: galatasaray can not quailify into next round in champions league
my bet is: marseille to finish her group at the 4th place.

if 1-1 no signatures change...
if 0-0 no signatures change...
if 1-0 or 0-1, 0 dresses the sig 1 makes for 0 :D

and yes, cimbom is nickname for galatasaray mate
O:)

P.S. A team under management/coaching of Ancelotti is never strong  You ll see how i mean pretty soon.

It s not like ancelotti won championships in italy, england, france and 2 champions leagues ;)
I thought we said that in case of 1-1 we both had to change our sigs!

well, if you like to then fine BUT....
think again, does it make sense you dress galatasaray sig i make for you when you win your bet which is "galatasaray CAN NOT qualify" and me dress marseille signature when i win my best that s "marseille can not finish the group in top 3" ... ?

let me hear again :)

it makes more sense when you fail on your bet dressing my team's signature and if i fail on my bet then i dress marseille signature...
isnt it ?

O:)

Well HA, as expected galatasaray was no competition for madrid. The good thing is that the juve only tied vs copenhaguen.
Tomorrow arsenal for us, will be complicated..

thanks mate! as I said: galatasaray losing both games vs madrid is expected; with juve's result you just need to win vs the juve in the home game, beat twice copenhagen and hope that juve doesn't win any game vs madrid.

although i'm still quite curious about what you said about ancelotti; he's the best to manage players, a very good tactitican but not the best though. All his players always love him.

my thoughts for ancelotti is not based on very detailed search of mine.
watched his teams in past time to time, not of his all games as he coached for sure.
and in those games i watched, his teams (maybe just a coincidence) did not do good at all so i had the feeling that he is not a great tactician...saying this, i dont call galatasaray coach is the very best coach as well...

yes, juve galatasaray games are curicual now on...they will play for 2nd place of the group...the winner to proceed, and losing side to proceed in europa league :)

lets see what happens, maybe marseille and galatasaray plays final in europa league huh ? lolol

I really wouldn't mind, or else the real betis! ;)

I have very bad memories of uefa cup finals for Marseille though...

1999 (one year before galatasaray's win isn't it?) we played Parma that was a huge team at the time and lost 3-0 :(
Parma at the time had Buffon, Thuram, Cannavaro, sensini, boghossian, D. Baggio, Fuser, Veron, Chiesa, Crespo, Asprilla...
We had a huge team at the time too but everyone was injured for the final! (we had Pirès, Laurent Blanc, Dugarry, Gallas, Ravanelli...)

the other one was the 2004 final vs valencia that we lost 2-0. Basically after 15 minutes Fabien Barthez stopped an attack catching slightly the foot of the striker; penalty+red card for the goalie! so we were one man down and one goal down right from the start. this rule is ridiculous, giving both a red card to a goalie and a penalty just ends a game. I wasn't a big foul at all... (you will see a player you must like in that video! ;) )

So far the Champions League has been even more entertaining than expected. Loads of goals. Obviously I watched the United game on tuesday and yesterday I flicked through, but ended up mostly watching Arsenal. Both game were great. From what I could tell from the highlights and reviews, all the other games were really good too. Which games did you watch and what did you think of them?

yeah, marseille lost 2-1 vs arsenal that wasn't really at its best while we didn't play all that bad. really says it all! :?
By the way, I just realized that 2 years ago our group was arsenal, marseille, dortumnd and olympiakos. almost the same except that napoli is quite better than olympiakos! :) oh, and that year, we lost our first home game vs arsenal then won both games vs dortmund (to finally finish second of the group).

That was awesome! :D unfortunately they ve just beaten liverpool yesterday (although i don t know which of these 2 i despise the most, but that would probably be united).

In france we had the "cashico" last week end, psg vs monaco. Monaco managed to pull a draw, ibrahimovic failed a few stuff he just never fails.
At the end of the day, they both won again yesterday and are still fighiting for the lead with monaco +2.

Funny stat: zlatan+ cavani = 5 goals; falcao + riviere = 13 goals so far! Who would ve guessed riviere could be so impressive..

oh it ended 2-2? i saw there was 0-2 for you guys! oh well, you know what you got to do now, beat them home!
by the way, the tie breaker is head to head then goals for against/head to head then goals scored in away games in head to head... THEN overall goals for/against right? (which is really good for galatasaray after their result against madrid)

marseille lost 3-0 in dortmund while we won there 2-3 2 years ago last time we faced them. Any chance we do something against napoli? i don't think so lol. looks like I can't win and you still have a chance!

i really dont mind it who wins the bet though mate :)
i hope marseille keeps going in UEFA cup since i dont see a chance for marseile to finish it in top 2...
i dont know how the head to head thing works...
what galatasaray has all to do is 6 points from two copenhagen...which is very tough,i very well know. In case we can do that, then we have got good odds for the second round :)
our new coach, i guess he is a far better strategian / tactician compared to ex coach terimm.

fingers crossed. :)

ok back to national teams! We are getting to know much more of the world cup participants:

Asia (4)
Australia
Iran
Japan
South Korea

Europe (9)
Belgium
Bosnia
England
Germany
Italy
Netherlands
Russia
Spain
Switzerland

North+Central America (3)
Costa Rica
Honduras
USA

South America (5)
Argentina
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Ecuador

That's 21. Here are the remaining team with a chance to qualify through playoffs:

Jordan vs Uruguay
New Zealand vs Mexico
Burkina Faso vs Algeria (3-2 first game)
Ivory Coast vs Senegal (3-1 first game)
Ethiopia vs Nigeria (1-2 first game)
Tunisia vs Cameroon (0-0 first game)
Ghana vs Egypt (6-1 first game!!!)

Europe: the draws are not defined yet, but group 1 will be paired with group 2 for a playoff after next monday's draw:
group 1: Portugal, Greece, Ukraine, Croatia
group 2: France, Sweden, Iceland, Romania

You have all 32 teams for next summer out of all this!

I really hope france doesn't face Portugal! Pretty crazy to see that we might not go to the world cup because we were in a group with Spain, the world champion while teams like Australia are qualified (we ass kicked them 6-0 on friday)

Liverpool and Everton Top Contenders for Red Bull Takeover

I think they should go for Arsenal. Red Bull Gunners has a nice ring to it.

This would never happen. Maybe a shit club like the austria saltzburg wasn t powerfull enought to fight against that. But liverpool or everton? Change the name or the jerzey of 100+ year old institutions? No money could pay for that. They can rebrand the stadium name, it could be more or less accepted, but the jerzey or the name would bring nothing but hatred towards the owners and the beverage itself, not only in england. Worse marketing idea ever!

World cup Preliminaries: Why is Uruguay in the Asia bracket?
Who picks Germany, Brazil or Argentina to win?

They aren't its a play-off game which can be across areas like N.Zealand v Mexico..
Hard to bet against those 3,along with Italy the most consistently successful in World Cup history, although no European team has won in the Americas.
