some of the requests that came in for more basic maps this round--sorry --sticking to my format for games since there are plenty to join--gl--u have a few days left to join so play some pick ups and learn the maps is my suggestion--that is what I did in a semi finals when I came across a little map called arms race--I won that game got second in the tourney though and the rest is history with arms race--good luck

I laughed when I saw the selection of maps remaining. It might actually be even "worse" according to those that were complaining a few rounds ago. That said, up until recently there were some USA Apocalypse, which is pretty basic. Plus there are still a bunch of random, which you have a good chance of getting some basic maps.

You're joking, right?

I mean, don't get me wrong.. I'm quite happy with what's available now.... Rorke's Drift, Middle Ages, and Arms Race, are all maps that I like, so I'm certainly not going to complain. But calling USApocalypse a basic map is insane... that is one of the most brutal maps of all. The reversing "polarity" of the bonuses means that your opponent can change your bonus to an antibonus with one successful attack so unless you're predicting the future you never know whether taking it will help you or kill you. It's like playing laser tag in a Hall of Mirrors.

Well most of the maps are fairly complicated. - AOR might may be one of the not too complicated still in there for anyone looking.

Still, 274+ a made it into round 13. - If EVERYone playes 3 games, that would be ... assuming no more than 280 total players in round 13: 420 games. - deduct one or two games for bonuses.... and hmm if almost 500 games were made we should be looking at 80 open games or so when everyone has had 3 games. - Now I doubt everyone will play 3 games. - A few only play until they win one and some wont play 3 due to lack of time. -

Im thinking that we are pretty close to everybody having played all the games they wanted, so I wouldnt be overly concerned that there are players sitting around crying due to not being able to play a classic map. Seemingly HA is a nice guy/girl (I forget) and made extra games what with all the players choices he put in this time round. (Well done)
