Day 5

The day seemed to fly by, no arguments given, no backlashes created, everyone was certain, if william wasnt the thing it had to be ga7!... they were wrong, when ga7 was killed everyone was stunned... Not because he had died, but because once again the lead was taken down! and for the 4th time in a row they had killed a human. Perhaps tonight they will reflect on it more and come out with a true identity?

Night 5
Ace1217 ran down the hall after he thought most were asleep
"I know who it is this time I know who it is this time!" he was screaming out, waking everyone as he ran straight into the last room of '/' Three shots rang out and showly he backed out of the room... / was human everyone was peeking out of the rooms as he backed out, and they saw it, something reached down from the vent and grabbed his head pulling him up. The captain tried to grab him, but as he pulled hard the body came in two, his legs landing beside him. Ace1217 was dead.

Well, since we know for sure that ga7 wasn't lying, that means we still have our doc on our side, and it also means that there's only two scum out there out of the nine.

We have some room, but we need to still watch out. That said, I'd not be unsatisfied with pressuring Stroop. He's the one who hammered ga7 after all.

Confirm Vote Stroop

Looks like I'm in trouble. Guess what I'm claiming.

Anyway, at least create some more discussion before you lynch me, or another day goes to waste.

F1fth, though it doesn't really help me. Most of any case against him can also be used against me, like:
pmchugh wrote:
ga7 wrote:No kidding, everyone just jumped... Granted since we're facing only two scum it doesn't mean too much but town should take it more easy :?
Could you prod him Nate?

Confirmed townie and a good player too, you have a lot of influence.

As a nice rule of mine I ttend to think that quick moving wagons usually have scum on them. This case even more so as it puts you on the side of a (vitrually) confirmed townie.

switchblade 5 votes (ga7, F1fth, Stroop, sam_levi_11, ace1217)
Scoffin - 8 votes (ga7, pmchugh, animorpherv1, F1fth, Stroop, LSU Tiger Josh, dunc_2007, ace1217)

Two nice little people getting on the wagons early, F1fth and stroop.

I wouold vote for one but there is two many votes on switch atm. so FOS F1fth and stroop.

but more recently he also did this:
F1fth wrote:I don't really see the vote swinging either, so I figure I might as well expedite the process. If Will were the doc he would have claimed so by now so we know he's gonna claim townie whether he be townie or scum and it changes nothing.

Any objections to the hammer? If I get a third "no" before a "yes" then I'll lynch.

Obviously F1fth doesn't object to hammering will, but he stays in the clear by letting other people decide on his vote (I hammered, but that's not important here).

Well this one is interesting, F1fth appears to be trying to resolve himself of blame by letting others control his vote...

Will was going to die no matter what since the deadline was approaching, so it didn't matter if I objected or not, but he hadn't claimed so I asked first before I just went ahead and hammered him. I think it's a much more favorable action than just dropping the hammer out of the blue.

I said that I figured Will was a townie in this post:
F1fth wrote:At the moment I get the feeling that William is town. While his defense has been rather loose and reaching, it seems more to me like the case a frustrated townie would put up and not a scummer. A few things he has said have also seemed like they were coming from a townie's perspective.

But still, he has made accusations of the most cleared players we have. That's the one thing about his actions that bother me, so having said that I would have no problem pursuing this avenue should a little more evidence present itself or the deadline draws closer and we don't have another viable alternative.

Also, I know it's the holidays so people are probably still busy, but in a few days can you give a friendly prod to the couple of people who haven't posted in a while: sam, cena, PCM, etc.

Obviously, I didn't know for sure, but the point is Will was going to die no matter what since the deadline was so close. If I were scum, I would have just kept quiet and let him die (or already had my vote on him).

And it is important that you hammered. That shows that you didn't have any problem with what I said before that, as well as the fact that you took advantage of the fact that the town had absolved the hammerer. Furthermore, the next day you hammered ga7 who I quite vocally defended.

Why don't we look at the vote counts of the last two townies lynched:

Who is on both wagons (and where)? Who is on neither? And ace got NK'd the night when he was told by ga7 to vig Stroop. Why wouldn't scum let the vig take out a townie (if he is a townie)?

I phrased that last part quite horribly and it was the point I wanted to emphasize, so let me elaborate:

ga7's final post was to tell ace to vig Stroop. Previously, the scum had left ace alone (and as it turns out it was the right move for them because he took out far more town than scum), so it's a small logical leap to assume that the thing that changed their mind about letting him live was that they believed ace would follow ga7's directions and vig him. If Stroop were town, it wouldn't make sense for scum to kill the rogue because if Stroop got vigged as town, that would be another free townie down and no suspicion directed towards them. It makes no sense that scum kill the vig unless someone felt threatened, especially when we know that the scum are still looking for the doc -- someone far more dangerous to them.

I hope that makes more sense.

You know, that fact and your pointing it out now makes it seem even more that you are trying to remain blameless of the lynches.
Also, killing ace now did not stop him from killing his target so your logic is a little strained there...
