That was quick. San Jose State 79, Fresno State 67. Fresno State's entire starting 5 fouled out before halftime.

In an epic battle in the very tough Ivy League, with the nation's eyes on the two teams, #2 Columbia narrowly defeated #9 Princeton. Columbia's coach basically conceded the entire match after the very opening minute of the game, and ridiculously predicted a heavy loss for his own team, but then turned around and won the game. Very annoying, and distracting from the enjoyment of the hard fought match. It lead to some tension on the floor between the two coaches, but I guess that is to be expected in a major in-conference rivalry between two highly ranked teams. It shows the quality of the rivalry. Princeton wishes Columbia well, and hopes for revenge in the post-season.

Wow, the smallest conference out there, the Ivy league has 5 teams in the top 25.

Columbia admits that their coach was definitely being a pessimist during the first half of the game.. His boyz were out to a slow start, they were not rebounding well, and totally believed that his team was going to get embarrassed by the end of the game.. However, his team showed true grit when he did not.. rallied in the third to tie the game by taking advantage of some key turnovers, and grinding it out in the 4th for the marginal victory.
Score:
Game 8490402 Columbia wins in RD 6 31-17
Game 8490403 Yale wins in RD 6 17-31
Game 8490401 Columbia wins in RD 6 28-21
2/3 games = +2
Final Score = 78-69

GAME 22 RESULTS

GAME 21 RESULTS (link)
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd27 ... 10Gm21.pngRPI rankings

*The RPI formula, which includes three factors...the full RPI can be found by downloading the Schedule link at the top of this page.
1) Winning percentage — your W-L record
2) Strength of schedule — A mix of opponent records and your conference's overall rank.
3) Quality wins — your W-L vs. teams ranked in the top-40
* Winning margin also is weight slightly into the formula
The RPI is just one measure that will be used to decide at-large bids for the March Madness tournament, and is in no way a final measure of which teams will get in and which will be left out.

Texas defeats Big XII leader Texas Tech for the second time this season and closes the gap on them. Tech, currently ranked 28, were defeated by the Horns pressure defense and could not mount a comeback as the final score was 81-65. The season sweep over Tech will put the Horns in a good position to possibly win the regular season crown but coach Caz knows there is lots of work ahead, "My team is playing well but there are nights when we stop caring about the game and just want to stare at the cheerleaders. That is the problem with a bunch 18-20 year old men, it does not take much to distract them and nothing distracts them like good looking co-eds!"
win in 7,7, and loss in 9

The UNC-Wilmington NC Seahawks bounce back from a rough start in league play and a four game losing streak to win four games in a row as they try to get back on track to making the NCAA Tournament. Currently ranked 63rd in RPI the Seahawks hope this will be enough to get them above the bubble at least till they go on another losing streak.

The Marist Red Foxes are calling for an investigation into allegations that the referees for the series against UNC-Wilmington were bribed. In game 2, UNC-W started the game with two bonus regions, surrounded by neutrals...the effectively ended the game before it began. Marist coaches, players, and the student body are indeed, hungry for zebra blood.

Columbia defeats Princeton soundly.. The Tigers put up a decent fight but were no match for the lions over 4 quarters.. They tried hanging in but as the game progressed it was clear that Columbia's condition was too much for them to handle.
Game 8499943 Columbia wins in RD 8 30-19
Game 8499944 Columbia wins in RD 9 29-19
Game 8499945 Columbia wins in RD 11 28-20
3/3 Wins = +3
Final Score = 90-58

Freemiums that are attempting to catch up have been told that expiring games will now count as forfeits...other freemiums who fell behind the pace have been replaced with reserves...it should all work itself out over the course of the week.
