I remember watching the election, and I was disappointed Kerry didn't win. Thing is, though, as some people said at the time, it's probably better that Bush got re-elected, because then he'd be stuck with his own mess in Iraq, and not a Democrat president, who'd then risk have the blame of mishandling the war falling on the Democrats.
