Sheepofdumb asked LSU whether he has eleven fingers.

rejoins? like we left and then we came back because Skoffin took over for Thezz? meaning we did not want to play because Thezz was such a great player and the loss of him would be detrimental to the game, but then hearing that skoffin was his replacement made our weary hearts feel better so we decided to rejoin the game? Guess it makes sense.

On that note, let us all rejoin and continue finding the man with 11 fingers!

What are your thoughts on what has been posted so far skoffin?

That aside, the 5-person bandwagon on LSU is still the most important issue on the table. Other than that, we don't have a lot to go on at the moment.

FloresDelMal wrote:since when lynch - 2 became the new lynch - 1

So the tradition was to first get to L-1 with a bandwagon before going after people who are on the bandwagon? I should make the point here that 5 votes with 7 to lynch stands out a lot more than 2 votes with 4 to lynch. Putting the 5th random vote on a player is a lot more suspicious (IMO) than putting the 2nd random vote on a player in a smaller game.

Unvote, Vote: Nzen for speculating about the setup.

Random voting is a pretend contribution. I would rather people say more than a little quip. So I offer an avenue of conversation. I'll grant it doesn't reveal more than voting 'because simon didn't confirm before farside22 began.' Yet, motivation is difficult to derive in a cloud of mock accusations. We need some discussion with meat, that needs justifications that scum can't supply without relying on their privileged position. The set-up is simply the most immediate topic available.

This is quite an elaborate and well defined reason given for someone who received only 1 vote, and a random vote with silly reasoning behind it at that.

AceArtemis wrote:Fair enough, Nzen.

Unvote, Vote: Flores for putting LSU at L-2 during random voting.

Yet this explanation was all it took to take away your vote? Not very strong convictions. interesting. And now both of you are voting for the same person? Nzen for random reasons and Ace for because Flores put LSU 2 votes away from a lynch?

Is putting someone at L-2 really that bad, especially in a game where we have no information? If so we might as well vote no lynch because every time we get to L-2, without reason, that person seems scummy and we should jump on the L-2 bandwagon? I mean if LSU got lynched and turned up town, wouldn't we look at the last people to jump on and not the person who put it at L-2? Isn't gaining information pro town?

any who, trying to get SOMETHING started. keeping my vote on LSU for now, would like to see where that goes.

Besides, he has not even tried to defend himself and is still 2 votes away from a lynch.

What are you trying to say here, that me and Nzen are scumbuddies? He simply convinced me that he was just trying to start some discussion, instead of just having the town all vote randomly while posting only a couple words.

My convictions are never strong on Day 1. On Day 1, I just try to generate information for the town in any way I can. My vote on Nzen didn't have a lot of weight behind it, I just wanted Nzen to respond to my post.

About me and Nzen voting for the same person: I had no idea Nzen was voting for Flores when I voted for Flores.

What's up with that part about the no lynch? We really only reach L-2 without reason once in the game, right after random voting. Then, people go after each other about the bandwagon. After that, people go after each other about what happened previously, and eventually, people actually have a reason to vote. Once people have a reason to vote, putting someone at L-2 is no longer suspicious. This process generates information for the town. (At least that's my understanding of Day 1)

Just having someone at L-2 without reason doesn't force them to defend themselves, because you had no reason to vote for them in the first place, and there is no case against them. When there is no case against LSU, what do you expect LSU to defend himself from? (Unless you want a random Day 1 claim)

I did not say you were scum buddies, but you did. All I was pointing out was how fast you jumped ship and onto a ship with a captain you were voting for.

With actions like yours, this process never happens. If no one bandwagons, we do not get to L-2 on day 1, and therefore no L-1, and therefore get no lynch because everyone is quiet/has no information on day 1. Which would be the same as voting for no lynch because we would just run out of time before we get one because no one would ever be the L-2 person. So then you have to start saying it is suspicious and scummy to be the L-3 person? If so then no one goes L-3 and so on down the line until on day 1 ends with people just having 1 random vote.

Did you even ask Flores what the reason was for voting, because if you did I missed that post, or did you just assume from the ewww post what it was? You jumped onto Flores without knowing the true reason why a vote was placed for LSU. You and Nate both did. Maybe we should get an explanation before you start bandwaggoning Flores.

That being said FOS Flores for not defending ones actions and now seems like a bandwagonner.

I would not expect a claim, but at least a little resistance, maybe some questions asking why, or a little defense. Being at L-2, it only takes 1 person to jump on the bandwagon before some scum lays the hammer. If you were L-2 would you just go dormant?

Maybe, just maybe, sheep hit a nerve and LSU's gross response was the best he could do when caught in the headlights so early. Maybe LSU does have six fingers. I am leaving my vote as is.

Or maybe Josh didn't know the significance of the 6 finger bit and made a gross joke. No real need to state anything other then that I don't know the movie or characters.

Ahoy hoy. Yes, I've replaced Thezhead, I shall commence reading the game now; but first I'd like to say that, as I quite enjoy the movie this is based upon, throughout the game I will likely quote parts of the movie and that whatever I quote has nothing to do with whatever role or character I may be.
Now that that's said....

Suspect, even I came to the conclusion you were hinting at Ace and Nzen being scumbuddies. I personally don't see what was wrong with their actions either, Nzen gives a reasonable answer and it's suspiscious for being 'elaborate' but had he given a brief answer with not much to it more votes would be piled on him for having a weak defense. However you play it, sometimes you just can't win.
Also generally when people give a vote they also state their reasons, so why are you now exspecting us to ask each player what their exact motive for a vote was? If Flores chooses to vote someone and simply leave the remark 'ewww' with it then we have every right to assume her vote was baseless. I find it odd you would defend someone for this.

As for LSU, what do you expect him to do? We both have been around long enough to know what's going to happen from here:
A. He defends himself, people accuse him of being overly defensive. LSU is lynched.
B. He doesn't defend himself, people accuse him of being scum with no idea what to claim. LSU is lynched.
Sometimes the best defense is to just ride it out and hope someone else comes along to take all the heat, especially on day one.

For the time being my biggest suspect is... suspect. Heh. For the time being I'll leave a simple FOS, as I was speed reading and would like to go over a few things again when I have the time to.

*sighs* ok i readed and i thought when i said "eww" was kinda obvious that i voted him for being gross and i had nothing else going on in day 1, that was all, not huge strategy underlying it, i suppose eww doesnt mean the same for everyone, might mean something positive and cute somewhere else, from where i come from is an expression of disgust, nausea, aversion, etc...
