In to [player]pebble[/player].

We're at 48 of our 49 -- plus we should have some reserves.

Ok, we've got our 49 agents, so I'll start the tournament soon. I want to get some reserves, and I have to get privileges, plus I'm super busy this week.

Look for your first games within the week, and good luck to everyone. We'll be off to The Bahama's soon, to find out what is going on on mysterious Crab Key.

do the seedings have any affect on the actual tourny?

You mean the order in which the groups were put together? No, but instead of putting the first seven entrants into the same group, the next seven into the next group, etc. I put the players into groups sequentially. The first seven are the first players in each group, then the second seven are the second players in each group, etc.

It's a truly simple tournament -- only two games, the winners of the first game play each other for the championship. There will be much more complex games in the franchise, though. Bond gets around, you know? So some of the tournaments in the franchise will have a points system, and some may well have some sort of seeding. Some may even have entry requirements, and some will offer premiums for winning.

Eventually I hope to have an invitational tournament to cap off the franchise, but that's a long ways off.

so for this there is no use for the seedings in this tourny?

I'll admit to a bit of confusion here. What exactly were you expecting, or did you have something specific in mind?

[player]bonus_mop[/player] is the first player into the finals, winning game 003.

I'm having trouble with group 004 -- two agents are MIA. I've sent messages out to all my reserves, but I think I may need a few more reserves! If you're interested, it's a sure way to be part of the initial outing of this franchise....

Three games still running - Groups 001, 002, and 004. This seems like a good choice of both map and settings -- hope everyone's having a good time.

I'm getting ready to start the second in the series: "From Russia With Love". It's going to be much, much more complex, with a lot of games, maps, seeding, and scoring tables. Look for it soon!
