What happens if the same person wins both games?

Then that person will play in both the A and B groups in Stage 2.

It is possible that the same person could win all the games in one of the Stage 1 groups -- they would then be in all of the Stage 2 games. In fact, if the same person were to win all 6 Stage 2 games, Stage 3 is unnecessary. I don't expect that will happen, but there certainly might be less than 6 players in Stage 3.

No need to move you around in the list -- I'll contact any reserve to be sure they can step in before I activate them. If I need you, and you aren't available, I'll go down the list until I find someone who is available. If another reserve is needed later, I'll check with you again. OK?

This is designed to be a slow-moving tourney, to accommodate all players. It shouldn't be a problem -- no-one will ever have more than 2 games to play at a time, by design.

The number of Final Stage players will be equal to the number of Stage 2 winners. If you were to win 3 Stage 2 games, you would still only have one entry into the Final game. You would reduce the number of total players by the number of extraneous games won. In this case, by 2, so there would be only 4 players in the final game.

My hope is that this doesn't happen, but that's the way the tournament's structured.
