I will reveal the correct answer this week sometime. Think carefully... Try not to look at other posts below before you answer, just think and give an answer you think is correct then after look at the other answers.

Answer is 38 and would need to be played on a Quads Freestyle w/ Spoils But it is not final it is only a theory. Do cards transfer from one team player to another? If so the answer is 38, but until we find that out for sure the answer is 32.

Good job all who got it!!!!!!

wrong

It is 39, if there is an 8 player game, and I have 4 cards and all 7 other players have 5 cards each, well, 7 x 5 is 35, plus my 4 equals 39 ;) according to your theory, it is possible for 39 as it is 38, I will not cash my 4 cards, but take all out with 5, leaving me 39.

also, you are wrong 2x, cause ak_iceman and happy2seeyou have tried tests on this before, not sure what they come up with, but it has been tested

wrong

if everyone deadbeats out of a standard freestyle game, no one collects the cards, they stay with the people who deadbeated, so that doesnt work.

I don't think H2 was in the game- I can't remember the other player. But we did it in a triples game and I want to say we came up with 24 or 26 cards. You can't directly add all the cards together as you have to cash- and if you come up with 8 you're forced to cash 2 sets. So the total at one time before you ran out had to be no more than 7 unless............

EDIT: The key is to have multiple players make the kills and run out.

I think we can all agree on 33 being the max for these days and games.. but the chances of that happening even in a setup game are slim/ very tough to coordinate.

The most that i've ended with would be 9.

One game i played i was soo close to ending with 11 cards but err.... it worked out on a doodle esc game.. last 3 players.. player A had 4 cards 1terr and player B had 3 and 2 terrs. Player B was trying to take out A but was rather slow on the draw, he managed to kill him and cash but before he deployed his cashed cards i had eliminated him, leaving me with a win... but not a record breaking ending card count..
ah, it was a good match ;)
..just wish i could find the game #..

I don't care how slow they were or fast you are- it's impossible to hold 11 cards! lmao..... guy's so fast fooling the system into not forcing him to cash a double at 8.

ah, scott.
your ignorance plagues me again.

Known:
Player A has 4 cards
Player B has 3 cards
Bridge2far has 4 cards

Order of Events:
1) A+B =B avec 7 cards.
2)B cashes one set.
3)B+Me = end game, 8cards.

if we take step 2) out of the equation we are left with me holding the game and 11 cards.

figure it out yet scotty-boy?

You're on crack.... you can't kill 2 players and have 11 cards !

If you had said, one player kills another player and you kill him before he cashes....but not 2 !

We're talking about one player getting 33 cards- what makes you think that one can't get 11 ?! lol

oh heck, i'd even be interested to see a phony build game that went for the max # of cards... has that been done?

I didn't read all of the thread but AK, Maniac and I did some test games back in the day. We maximized the number of cards a person could cash when only 6 player games were available.

http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=486271 In round 10 AK cashes 7 sets in a row, had been holding 21 cards at one time.

I was one of the testees but I was forgotten :(

We decided to cash 21 cards at once which was the max cash in, instead of holding 25 cards which was the max you could end with
