It was in the summer as well. December is busy.

Don't blame you Khaz! (i was only being a little mischievous anyway!)

And Andrew, please don't take any of the lengthy disgruntled posts regarding the new format personally. They may seem like indirect attempts to discredit the new format but that is not at the heart of the matter.
If anything they lay compliment at your extraordinary prior tournaments. I have enjoyed them so acutely that you should be suspicious if I were to just walk silently into the night.

I'm not signing up for this tournament (due to holidays clashing with a large number of games)
but i would like to offer my support to Andrew for making changes to the tournament.

It never ceases to amaze me just how selfish non tournament organising players can be when someone who sets one up, is bombarded with moans of it not falling into their safety zone.

The tournament settings are there in black and white. If you don't like it you don't join.

OK I have secured a partner as long as it is ok with Andrew that we have not played together before, but that said we both have a lot of doubles experience and should be ahead of the game in that respect
